"Had a wonderful workshop with Julie - I went along with an earring design in mind and she was able to help me find a way to bring it to life. I got to do actual silversmithing and use resources I’ve never been able to before (hammering, soldering, etc) which was fantastic and really exciting. It was so good to be able to create beautiful earrings which look the way I envisioned them. Most importantly, Julie had such a lovely manner, a genuine warmth and so much passion that shines through - she’s a brilliant teacher. She also makes heavenly chocolate brownies, so say ‘yes’ to the yummy snacks being offered so you get to enjoy those brownies :D All in all, a fantastic experience that I thoroughly recommend! "

Jo is a tremendous tutor - warm, welcoming, relaxed, encouraging, and really keen to ensure that you leave with a piece that will bring you pleasure for years to come. Her enthusiasm and zest for life, combined with a light, airy studio set-up, the beautiful location, and unending supply of refreshments, make for a great time. Without doubt the best craft course I have been on, and one if which I'm reminded every time I look out on to the garden and see a hare leaping out from under the apple tree. "

"This was the first of Paula’s excellent workshops that I have attended. There was much to learn as making perfect candles is not easy. Paula guided us through the process from start to finish and we all went home with 2 beautifully-fragranced soy candles. The learning environment was relaxed and fun and it was a special day for me and my colleague – both of us were taking time out of our very busy work schedules. I would recommend the workshop to anyone who wants to de-stress from work or other difficult events or just for fun."

"What a day, can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere, instruction and experience were all fantastic. The team did a great job of putting everybody at ease and were very attentive and encouraging throughout the day. Not to distract from the blacksmith experience itself, but it must be said that the food and pre/post course communication was also great. Definitely one for you to have a go at and we all came away with the key ring and the Dragon coat hook. looking to do my next course with Adrian and the team. "

"I attended Adrian's workshop on 20th Aug with a little apprehension and nervousness. I wasn't sure I'd be able to create anything. This changed immediately on meeting Adrian and Debbie who were the perfect hosts and put me at ease. I discovered that nothing is impossible if you have someone there, full of patience and knowledge to guide you along and give you the right encouragement. "Dave is an excellent teacher. I had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. He takes you through the process step by step and encourages safe and comfortable practice through a vast variety of cuts. I can't believe I managed to carve a spoon in the one afternoon! Dave is a treasure trove of useful information. He tells you the wood to collect and use, the tools available and how to sharpen and maintain them. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting to experience spoon carving. "
