"I had a most wonderful time learning with Elaine. The course was just right - I learned loads about the process which is amazing but also was able to work relaxed and at my own pace too . It was most entertaining and informative too. I really gained a perspective. Elaine was kind and tailored to our different learning styles. The other participants were so nice too. Thank you so much Elaine. "

Mary Fisher reviewed: Two day (consecutive) stained glass starter course at North Norfolk Stained Glass

"We have completed the two day stained class course with Paul and it was fabulous. The tuition was excellent and enabled two complete beginners to make a lovely glass panel. The whole weekend was enjoyable and Paul is a fantastic teacher giving clear instructions and providing lots of hands on practice of each process before we tackled each stage with confidence. He guided us on colour choices and combinations and was always there to reassure, only stepping in if required. I would highly recommend this course to anybody interested in stained glass or anyone who enjoys learning a new, creative skill. Simply outstanding! Thank you Paul Mary and John Fisher"

North Norfolk Stained Glass responded:

"Dear Mary and John, Just to say a big thank you for your review. I really enjoyed your company over the weekend, it all went so quickly! Don’t forget where I am if ever you’re in the area and have a safe journey north and south. Warmest wishes Paul"

Sarah L reviewed: One day introduction to resin art

"This was a really relaxed session in Eunice‘s amazing workshop. Eunice provides an excellent demonstration with lots of information about how to use resin. You get an opportunity to make two pieces of resin art. Eunice is on hand to guide you. It was just four of us on the group which meant that it was very relaxed and enjoyable. It was a relatively expensive session but there are hardly any resin classes and the quality is good . I’d recommend it. "

Eunice J. Friend responded:

"Thank you so much Sarah, it was lovely to meet you both and watch you create your artworks. Keep creating Warmest regards Eunice "

Cherrie reviewed: Pottery wheel & glass fusing private half-day

"I bought this class as a 50th birthday gift for my friend and I treated myself too. We had a brilliant and absorbing afternoon with Chris and Sarah trying our hand at pottery and glass fusing. The pair are highly skilled and eager to share their knowledge and skills and help you get the best out of your creative time in their garden workshop and studio. I loved getting my hands dirty at the pottery wheel and had fun decorating my pots with Chris' coloured slips. There were lots of gorgeous choices to make when it came to the glass fusing, which required a more delicate touch - Sarah was very patient with me! I'm thrilled with the three pots, colourful pendants and cocktail stirrer I made. I'll definitely be booking another class."

Sarah Greening Glass responded:

"All looked fabulous! It was lovely to help you both make your masterpieces! Thanks very much for sharing!"

"I had a wonderful time on the 15th of October 2022 making a bee and a butterfly at the mini sculpture class that Julie took. Julie was very patient with me, because at first, I found it hard to get going and Julie sorted out my bee for me and then got me restarted a few times. By my second sculpture I had got it and did it all by myself. I cannot wait to do it all again. "

"What an amazing day! I was given this as a birthday present and I can safely say that out of my 30 birthdays this is the best present I have ever received. I am trying to find a good excuse to return on my own money and that says something as I am tighter than a ducks bumhole. "

Ros reviewed: One day Mosaic workshop Moon Hare Studio, Devon

"Enjoyed this enormously. The new studio is a very quiet venue, but light and very well laid out. Having a great range of work displayed around is inspirational. The explanation and preparation is well paced and relevant, playing with paper shapes before crunching in to the coloured tiles. Lovely creative hands on experience. Interesting cross over with other colour using craft work. "

Georgia reviewed: Raku Workshops in the Lake District, Afternoon Session

"Myself and two of my friends booked onto the Raku Workshop at Hare Hill Barn. It was an absolutely wonderful, unique day and all three of us had a fantastic time. The location itself is beautiful, and the space warm and welcoming. The tutors were so helpful and knowledgeable about the process of Raku and ensured we got the most from the workshop. We each came away with two beautiful pots that we glazed ourselves to a design of our choosing. The refreshments and cake was also much appreciated, thank you to Vanda for hosting. I'm sure we will be back and would highly recommend the workshop to anyone. "

"Wood turning half day. A clean, well organised workshop and structure for the session. I learnt a lot in a short time. Simon has a good approach for the beginner but there is also a lot of knowledge available for the more experienced. His enthusiasm shines through and good to meet a teacher/practitioner still learning; the best kind of teacher.. A lovely location for a weekend break with optional activities. Recommended. "

"Hi Steve, High praise indeed from a journalist/reviewer! So pleased you had a good experience - it means so much to us. If it tickled your interest, you should return for the full day and make a bowl... :) -- Simon"

"We attended Lindsey's mosaic making course yesterday as a group of 4 people. We had a fabulous time learning about the process of creating mosaic pictures. Lindsey is very knowledgeable and was very welcoming. We enjoyed the hands on experience and all came away with a mosaic we could honestly say we were all proud of despite some of us having little artistic flair!! I would thoroughly recommend this workshop as a gift experience. "

Lindsey Kennedy Portfolio responded:
