Sue reviewed: Block printing on Fabric

"Alison and Liz were excellent giving support and guidance as we developed our ideas and tried out cutting tools , printing blocks onto paper first and then onto fabric later in the day . The barn is beautiful , a really calm welcoming setting with lots of tea , coffee and tasty wrapped chocolate treats . It felt great to take away a uniquely designed tea towel and tote bag with lots of ideas to pursue and information on block printing equipment suppliers . "

"Excellent couple of hours with Pat learning to throw a pot in the perfect private environment. My partner and I had a potter's wheel each. Pat is clearly an expert and has a warm and friendly way to impart her skills into a couple of potting amateurs. Thoroughly recommended if you haven't thrown a pot before or if you're just rusty and need some practice with expert guidance. "

Juliet Tomlinson reviewed: 'My Kind of Ironing' - Encaustic Art for 2+

"I had such an enjoyable time recently on an encaustic workshop. I'd never done this craft before and Jane explained it all very clearly before we started. All the materials and irons are provided and we all had enormous fun creating the most beautiful and colourful pictures. It was lovely to experiment and to gain inspiration from the other people there as well as the pictures that Jane showed us. I went home very satisfied with several cards that I've really enjoyed sending to friends. We were also treated to delicious tea and cake! A really lovely way to spend a few hours on a completely new thing and to go home with such colourful results."

Becca reviewed: LIVING SPRING WREATH MAKING KIT with Spring Bulbs on a woven willow/birch base

"Thank you Jenni, I ordered three living wreaths to do with my sister and mum for mothering Sunday. The box arrived promptly and the instructions were very easy to follow. We had plenty of bulbs and choice of supplies given to make the wreath. We all had a lovely time making the wreaths and they look lovely on the door I can't wait to see how it develops! Highly recommended!"

Jenni Wren Creative responded:

"Hi Becca, What a wonderful gift for you all for Mother's Day and a such a lovely activity for you all to do together. I am thrilled you all found the tutorials easy to follow and happy that had more than enough supplies to make the wreath.👏 I hope they bring you much joy as the bulbs develop and grow. Just remember to keep misting/spraying regularly which will ensure that the material remains fresh so that the wreath keeps it's condition and lasts well into late Spring. Do remember you can continue to refresh and replace, even popping in a few succulents with the moss pins provided if you wish the wreath to continue through to the summer. So many options and of course the bulbs are replantable as well as the wreath base reusable, once deconstructed. Who knows? ,You may well get together and all do the wreath making together again next year, making it a Mother's Day tradition 🤩. All the best, Jenni"
