"I had such a fun day on the DIY and home maintenance workshop. Jo is lovely. Very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a nice small group of 4 so it was very easy to get one on one time. I have come away from the workshop feeling confident to start some of the tasks I’ve been reluctant to tackle, such as putting up shelves and sealing gaps in the doorways and skirting boards among other things. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone."

She had a wealth of knowledge to share and answered every one of my many questions! I'm really pleased with my candle-holder and in particular the range of skills it covered. Highly recommended for anyone interested in metalworking and in particular coppersmithing."

"I never thought that a day spent making a wooden spoon would be quite so interesting and fun. Mike is a very encouraging tutor not only for the practical aspects of learning to carve but plenty of information about materials, design, suitability of different timbers etc. Mike is also very knowlegeable about natural history making the most of the lovely woodland setting just above Otley. I attended the course with 2 friends but is a great activity to book solo."

"I was nervous before attending Sarah’s course as I am a total beginner and other than watching a few YouTube videos, have never done anything like this before. I was immediately welcomed by Sarah and her lovely family and I was put at ease that we would go through each stage of the making process slowly which we did. Sarah helped me along the way to build my confidence and gain a good foundation of understanding for the basic principles of making a ring. The day was really relaxed and even though I went over the time, Sarah didn’t rush me and I ended up with a lovely ring that I’m so proud of. "I really enjoyed my day at Purr & Wag It. Heather was very patient and explained everything clearly as I was a complete beginner, had never done wet felting before. I did a 2D and then a 3D workshop. Choosing from the range of colours was so much fun, you can really indulge your creativity! I definitely recommend it as a fun session, for an individual or a group of friends."
