Great host and lovely workspace that made for a wonderful relaxed evening where some fantastic images were created in a short space of time. "My original course was cancelled due to snow and ice, but Karen rescheduled after consulting me about dates. I joined her friendly group of students doing their five week jewellery course, with Karen giving me loads of individual attention to help me create my silver ring. A fantastic bonus was that I'd taken along some silver rings that I could no longer wear, to ask her advice about them, and she showed me how to enlarge them. So I came away with four wearable rings, not just one! "

"My wife and I spent a delightful 3 hours with Sarah yesterday making each other rings for Valentines. Sarah was not only extremely welcoming and friendly, she is clearly extremely knowledgeable. She led us gently through the stages of preparing the metal, soldering the joints, making the rings round and correctly sized and then hammered and polished. Every step was explained and then demonstrated and then we were supported to complete each step ourselves. A truly fabulous afternoon and tremendous value for money, and a decent cuppa too! 100% satisfaction and can't recommend this course enough. Amazing! Thank you Sarah!"

"I really enjoyed myself on the one-day welding course. Tony is a great teacher and he has a special knack for teaching which makes it both fun and highly enjoyable. This also speeds up the learning process so we covered a lot of ground during the day and I came away very confident I had acquired the necessary skills to do all the basics in Mig welding including vertical welding both up and down. I can't recommend this course highly enough if you want to learn a lot in a short space of time and enjoy doing it. The other big thing is you can normally book right away without waiting weeks or months so for me I was able to book the next day. I will be recommending this to friends and associates. Thank you Tony for a great day and a brilliant experience."

"I attended this course last Saturday with my sister and I loved every minute and despite my sister not being at all craftsy, she did too! We had a warm welcome, in depth and knowledgeable instruction from Caroline and Becky and all the help we needed to create our own woven alpaca scarves. I have not stopped wearing mine since! Lunch was delicious, seeing the alpacas and the mill was also another highlight. Just lovely day all round. Definitely recommend."
