"While on holiday in north Devon I spent a very enjoyable and informative day with Colin. His knowledge and teaching techniques are second to none. I now wish I had done a 3 day course with him, so will have to spend more time with him next time I'm in Devon. Thanks for a great day Colin."

Mick & Hazel reviewed: Landscapes in Fleece

"Thank you Sally Anne for a super day in your lovely cottage - with Cathy the dog and Dingle the cat. You were so patient and attentive during our willow weaving experience and were so pleased with what we both made. You made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We appreciated all the info you shared about the willow and the different techniques you were keen to share. Thanks again. Mick & Hazel"

Helen reviewed: ‘Winter dream ' wool painting face-to-face textile art course in Worcestershire

"I would like to thank Raya Brown for fantastic time we had last Saturday. My friend and I are absolute beginners in felting and wool painting. We were a bit apprehensive at the beginning but the way Raya structured her course made it so easy to learn, enjoyable and relaxing! Raya offers a unique therapeutic way of working with fibres and students enjoy the process well as the end result. My friend and I are so pleased with our wool paintings. Would recommend to anyone."

Blacksmithing Hammer Skills reviewed: Blacksmithing - one to one - Hammer Skills

"My son Ted attended this course in the summer after he declared that he wanted to train to become a Blacksmith. This was just the kind of introduction we wanted to him to experience to see if he was serious! I must say that the course was impeccably organised and impeccably carried off by Bob and his forge partner. Ted came home after a full day's work, battered and bloodied but clutching a toasting fork and wearing a huge grin on his face. Bob was a marvellous instructor, so much so that Ted is keen to go back and undertake a few more days work to further hone his enthusiasm. Thank you Bob! Ted's Dad"

Amanda Shakespeare reviewed: Full day leather craft workshop

"I attended the full day workshop with Rosanna . She is an excellent teacher as her instructions were clear and she offered constant supervision and guidance throughout the day. As a complete novice I found it both fun and most informative . I came away with two finished products; useful tips, information about suppliers and affordable tools; and inspired to try it alone at home! I would highly recommend this workshop."

Janet Carpenter reviewed: Realistic and Adorable Needle Felt Animals & Pets

"I went along to the dog making course expecting to bring home a half-finished piece of work but this was far from the case. After a really lovely day which included a delicious lunch and snacks in a delightful setting, I arrived home with a very recognisable dog which resembled our own whippet cross, and which has been much admired by others. Sophie, who is very knowledgable about dogs and very skilful, was extremely generous in the information and materials she gave us, she was very clear in her demonstrations/instructions and was able to give everyone individual attention when needed. I highly recommended course."

Neil Young reviewed: Making a stained glass leaded panel

"I've just attended the Making a Stained Glass Leaded Panel workshop with Caryl. The course was very interesting and Caryl was extremely supportive on the day, helping with aspects of the design and construction of my leaded panel, giving lots of tips and insight and also being very understanding of my allergies by providing all the safety equipment I could need, making my day very comfortable. I would highly recommend Caryl's courses, she is a talented and passionate artist which is evident through the enjoyable course she delivers and the lovely glass panel you can take home at the end of the day after a bit of work yourself."

Furzie course Pauline reviewed: Needle felting course with FURZIE at Trumpet Corner Tea Rooms, Ledbury, Herefordshire

"I loved this course- you get so much packed into a short time and I love the hare that I made. I have learned something really useful and would like to attend another workshop in the future. Michelle is a great teacher and has a good sense of humour ( Think Jo Brand? hope that is not offensive Michelle!). The course is excellent value. The cost includes a take home kit and all the materials . You also get coffee, lunch and tea or coffee and delicious cake in the afternoon. The environment is lovely at the Trumpet art gallery as well. Would highly recommend this course."

"I've just completed a one day introduction to stained glass, making a lovely panel. As a complete beginner, this course was an excellent introduction to stained glass lead work. She is very knowledgeable and supportive, ensuring that you are not only learning and developing new skills, but also able to explore your own design ideas and apply these ideas to the process. Mike & Andrea reviewed: Pottery / ceramics wheel throwing, full day

"What a fantastic day with Lorraine. A very warm and friendly atmosphere fully conducive to learning the wonderful techniques of pot throwing and hand building. There were only six of us so every one got plenty of 1-2-1 time to fine tune our work! The pottery was teamed with some demonstrations and historical background info too which really brought it all together beautifully. There is plenty of time to make several pieces and even four pieces on the wheel too. Loads of refreshments and yummy home made cake too. I've done a few craft courses and this one is definitely the best yet by a country mile (and the others were brilliant)! The value for money is exceptional and we'll definitely be coming back to try out more of Woodsetton Art Pottery courses."

Margaret Underwood reviewed: Techniques & Tools Workshop

"Having been on a number of Emma's courses I would have no hesitation in recommending this and any of her other courses. They are fun, inspirational and will get you hooked in no time. Emma's general relaxed approach means there is time for everyone to learn at their own pace and never once have I seen anyone not able to produce something to be proud of. Probably one of the best ways to spend a day I know!"
