Darrent Wilbraham reviewed: Blacksmithing Introduction courses in Yorkshire and the North East

"This was my third course with Adrian - this time was the 2 day option where I was able to make my own project. Yet again it was thoroughly enjoyable - great company, absolutely lovely food & a brilliant teacher. Would recommend this to anyone & everyone - I hope to be back again soon. Thanks again Adrian & Debbie"

Leah Lewis reviewed: Product Photography & Styling E-course for people who make & sell lovely things

"As someone who works in the craft industry, I honestly couldn't imagine a better photography course. It taught me not only how to use my camera properly and use lighting to my advantage, it also cleverly taught me how to think like a photographer. Since doing the course, I've been busy re-photographing all the products on our website. It's amazing to see how having better images really does boost sales! We've also had magazines approach us, asking to feature products or ranges in their magazines.......same products as we've sold for a long time.......just much better images seem to be raising the attention of the media. The course is fun, informative, inspirational and easy to do at your own pace. It took me a long time to decide whether or not to do the course. Now I wish I'd done it sooner."

Joanne Hopwood reviewed: Ceramic moon gazing hares

"I loved this course! The instructions were clear and easy to understand and I came away with a piece of art that I'm happy to display in my home. Linda has a lovely manner about her and is able to help the most incapable student (me!) make something to be proud of. I've since taken a class in glass fusing and found it equally satisfying :)"

Fay Hollick reviewed: One day upholstery with Mick Sheridan in West Wales

"A lovely day. Clear and friendly instruction, beautiful location, and by the end of the day - a beautiful little stool to be proud to take home. I was quite surprised, and pleased, that there was such a large variety of high end fabrics to choose from - we were spoiled for choice"

Rosey Stride reviewed: Introduction to Frame Loom Weaving

"What a fabulous day to spend emerged being creative and learning a new craft. Fantastic teaching and warming enthusiasm on the history and future of weaving from Alice. She really is an ambassador for the craft and her workshops and own work are a clear representation that weaving can be as contemporary an art form as it is historical. Highly recommended for all ages, levels and those wanting to indulge in a new form of craft."

Penny Lindop reviewed: Capturing pretty Flat Lay photos - perfect for Instagram and Product Photography

"I just loved the whole day. Very inspiring and great to spend a day among other designer makers all creating some amazing photographs under the excellent guidance of Lyndsey. Lots and lots of tips to help us achieve great results, with tables full of props to inspire. Great food too. And all this achieved in the beautiful surroundings of Rutland Water. Might have to book to do it again!"

Seona reviewed: Capturing pretty Flat Lay photos - perfect for Instagram and Product Photography

"This was an excellent course run by a lovely and experienced photography and styling tutor. First (after tea and cake) Lyndsey demonstrated her fool-proof tips for creating attractive flat-lay collages - showing us several different styles - and also showing us how best to incorporate our makers' products, if we wanted to. We then got to play with the props, create several of our own flat-lays and photograph them under her expert guidance. It's hard to think of a more absorbing, inspiring and useful way to spend a day, and I can't wait to take another of Lyndsey's photography and styling courses. Thanks for a great day Lyndsey."

Julie Thompson reviewed: Shoe Making course – three day course

"I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days shoe making (mine are one of the pairs in the picture). Nick is a good teacher and knows about the sharp end of the business too and was very generous in passing on his knowledge. Expect long busy days; it's an ambitious course but set in the tranquil surroundings of Stanwick Lakes it made for a unique experience."

John Lorimer reviewed: Traditional English Longbow making outdoor course - a 2-day 'Quirky Workshop' at Greystoke Craft Garden & Barns near Penrith and Ullswater

"A fantastic 2 days, Tony is an excellent tutor providing the right level of instruction, support and advice whilst allowing you to get hands on from the start. The satisfaction of seeing your arrow fly from the bow you have crafted cannot be fully described. Thanks also to Annie and her team at Greystoke for keeping a team of newbie "bowyers" fed and watered with excellent food and refreshments- I cannot recommend the 2 days highly enough - go for it you won't be disappointed."

John Lorimer reviewed: A Longbow Experience

"An experience to build an authentic longbow using traditional skills and tools, a thoroughly enjoyable and instructive 2 days. Tony is an excellent tutor, providing a balance of instruction, support and advice whilst allowing his students to get hands on right from the outset. A fantastic opportunity to connect with history and follow the traditional skills of a bowyer whilst using a range of tools and techniques. It's difficult to adequately explain the satisfaction of building a bow with your own hands - expertly supported by Tony and then having the pleasure of seeing an arrow fly from your own bow at the culmination of the two days. Would throughly recommend this course - great fun and very instructive. Thanks Tony."

"I did the first of these courses in June, it was so enjoyable that i've signed up for July's ! The course was held in a quirky and fabulous location, the ambience and attention to details was great and Lyndsey knows what she is talking about ..! The mix of ladies (for yes we were all ladies on this particular course) was perfect and the props available to experiment (ok play if you push me) with were varied and perfect for the job in hand. A thoroughly enjoyable day ! Looking forward to the next one !"

Tony Fitzpatrick reviewed: Shoe Making course – three day course

"Good course content and instructor was well informed. However if I was going to give you some criticism - there wasn't enough tools / glue containers and heat guns for each person which. Thank you for the course. PS: Do you provide Certificates for the course as I would like one for my business and future plans."
