Hayley Miller reviewed: Interior design and decor; evening crash course

"Lucy stuffed so much content into our 4 weeks that it was mind blowing, yet she also gave us lots of practical activities, laced with cake and tea, so that the whole course was an absolute joy. With four of us, in Lucy's kitchen, the atmosphere was friendly and warm and she has so much to teach ! I really looked forward to the course every week; we all made so much progress with our respective designs and were sad to leave at the end. Outstanding course - I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to design and decorate a room, or anyone who wants to start to learn about interior design in a lovely relaxed environment. Thanks Lucy; can't wait to bring my own new design to life."

"I have been attending Ivan's sculpture classes for several years and find his studio an inspiring and nurturing space to make artworks. Ivan is a patient and extremely knowledgeable tutor who knows when to help with ideas and when to let you just get on! Ivan's knowledge of all kinds of art techniques and artists has really helped me develop my own work- often in surprising ways!"

"This was my second workshop with Lena ... all I can say is what an Excellent way to acquire a new skill and learn new techniques. Lena is a very patient tutor ... I could jar the patience of a saint... but she explained and demonstrated every aspect of the making process extremely well, even I could follow the instructions. Met some wonderful people and saw a variety of different ideas come to fruition. Highly highly recommend spending some quality 'me' time on one of Lena's courses. I will be back :) ,"

Sue Paterson reviewed: Private One to One Stained glass by Le Breton Traditional (near Exeter/Crediton/Tiverton)

"Did this excellent course yesterday and couldn't wait to get started at home!! Matt is excellent as a teacher as he is very patient and gives time to each person in the class ensuring everyone benefits from his endless knowledge. He had lots of tips and tricks to pass on which was great especially ideas on keeping the cost of things under control as my reason for doing the course was to make things to sell for charity so cost effectiveness was very important. Would recommend this course to anyone wanting to have a go at Stained Glass but be warned it is addictive and you will want to do more."

Elaine webb reviewed: Introduction to Frame Loom Weaving

"I enjoyed my weaving day in Portsmouth and if you'd like an introduction to this fascinating craft, I'd recommend it. It's a good chance to relax and learn from Alice, how to prepare the loom and start to create your own design-as simple or complex as you like. In a small group, Alice will instruct you when you need it or leave you to just enjoy the process, and there's the bonus of purchasing the loom at the end if you wish. Hope to do more days when the opportunity arises."

Sandra Hutchinson reviewed: Pottery throwing course in the South Downs National Park (one day - one-to-one)

"Booked a full day course with my husband to try throwing a pot. We had a fantastic day with Rowena, who was very patient with our efforts, ended up with five pots each as well as having a go at different decorative techniques. Rowena is a great teacher, you are on the wheel very quickly, the day just flew by. For lunch there is a great fish and chip shop a short walk away as well as Lewes High Street."
