"I loved the workshop! Claudia was a brilliant teacher. I learnt so much but also had a lot of fun doing the practical elements. She gave us handouts with all the information we needed to continue experimenting at home. The location was beautiful and inspiring and Margaret’s food was delicious! It was a lovely opportunity to meet like minded people and explore another creative skill. I will definitely be back!"

"I have just spent a joyous weekend attending one of Maggie's mosaic workshops. She was well prepared, has endless resources and guided us through the mosaic process from beginning to end. We all went home with a piece of work we are proud of and lots of enthusiasm and ideas to do more mosaics. "A really enjoyable and fun day learning how to make Lino prints. Came away with Christmas cards, gift tags and wrapping paper and lots of enthusiasm to try making more. I’ve discussed making printed tree decorations with my grandchildren and they can’t wait to get started Hannah was informative and encouraging and the venue met all our needs - would recommend this course."

"I spent two days, 19th and 20th November, with Alan and really found it a positive experience. Alan explained his design process and the path he takes to construction. Through Alan's calm and consistent manner, I was able to use a MIG welder to produce my own creation. I wouldn't say I was in anyway good, but it has made me realise some real enjoyment and my desire to get further training. Hopefully in the future I'll be creating my own sculpture."

I am afraid that the journey home was horrendous and it took me 2h 30m to get home due to thick fog coming over the tops and heavy traffic. I think I will have to find something closer to me. The introduction day was absolutely fabulous and started me off on a brand-new hobby which I have further developed by attending Louise's ring making course. Louise has been incredibly helpful and supportive outside of the courses offering help and advice on where to purchase equipment and supplies as well as how to use them effectively. "I decided to choose a robin for my mosaic as they are my favourite birds. As a complete novice the tuition was excellent and I really appreciated the individual time you spent with me. You were never intrusive and there was a lovely, friendly atmosphere. I felt a huge sense of achievement as I finished my mosaic. It exceeded my expectations as I am not particularly artistic/creative! I would love to return and do another mosaic so please keep me informed of other courses… I am definitely interested."

"Had a wonderful day making my lotus flower. Totally absorbing. I was amazed how we all created very different pieces and Emma was on hand to teach us the techniques and be supportive, guiding us with tips that somehow made us all produce masterpieces!! Helpful to have some ideas before you go and no time for slacking as surprising how the day just flew by. Would thoroughly recommend, you can go on your own or with a group as a fun activity to create and chat. Will go again when have the chance!"

"Had such a good day with Anne. She’s a brilliant teacher, imparting her knowledge with warmth and humour. I’d brought my own yarn but the others were able to select wools from those she had brought along and we all produced lovely scarves to take home. April was the perfect host, keeping us supplied with refreshments and encouragement. Couldn’t recommend too highly."

"This was a very instructive course and Claudia made us all welcome and had everything very well organised. The handouts were excellent with lots of information and well presented content. We covered a lot of ground giving us plenty of hands on experience and good opportunities to ask questions and all of our sample sheets to go home with. I feel confident enough to continue experimenting at home. The venue and atmosphere was lovely with delicious food provided by Margaret and so nice to meet and get to know others. Thank you and will definitely look in to attending another workshop."

"Great first experience of pottery throwing. Easy to find location, great workshop and equipment. I was able to follow Jack's instruction well and he had the ability to keep an eye on everyone's work in progress as the class is limited to 6 people. Intensive day but very enjoyable!! Good lunch too! Hoping to sign up for the evening course next year."
