Andrea reviewed: Fused glass workshops for all

"Really enjoyed the fused glass workshop. Karen explained the different types of fusing, demonstrated how to cut the glass with plenty of help and advice on making my own pieces. I made a coaster size hanging, little dish, sushi plate and even had time to make a pendant at the end of the class! Can’t wait to see my artwork when they’ve been fired! I’d definitely recommend the class and I’m going back for more glass fusing soon!"

Susan Burton reviewed: Craft in company: group in Henstridge nr Stalbridge Somerset & Dorset. Bring any craft and/or book a craft taster session from a selection.

"I regularly attend these Sunday Craft Days. I can't rate them high enough. I bring to Sally my craft ideas/projects and receive expert guidance. She is a great tutor, explaining why she does things in a particular way. I really feel I come away with many skills, increased confidence and my own hand crafted project. These Sunday's are my 'therapy' and I prioritise them above everything else. I've met some lovely people who are making all sorts of things. It's so good to meet with a group of like minded people and 'create'. Sally is always on hand with a huge welcome, tea & biscuits, a wealth of knowledge and skills which she very willingly imparts to me and others. I can't wait for the next one!"

Laura Pollington reviewed: Beginners Soap Making Course

"I booked this course as a birthday treat for my mum, as she loves hand made soaps. The course far exceeded our expectations. Paula welcomed us into her beautiful home and gave us a very informative and practical introduction to soap making. We then moved onto the practical section of the course. This was great fun, and we particularly enjoyed choosing which oils to fragrance our soaps with. We were then treated to a delicious afternoon tea, before leaving with our big box of fabulous soaps. Despite being a complete novice I now feel confident to have a go at making more soaps at home. I would thoroughly recommend this course. Thank you Paula."

Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co. responded:

"Thank you Laura. I very much enjoyed teaching your lovely family!"

"Karen’s classes are always very friendly with great fellow crafters. She makes us feel very relaxed when trying new techniques and you feel that you can achieve the finished project. Gill Middleton reviewed: Festive card making/Papercraft

"Karen's classes are such fun and the time flies!!! She caters for all abilities and is so patient. Everything is explained step by step and she doesn't mind how many times she has to go over it or how many questions are asked. She also caters for our own strengths and knows us well. Such a lovely way to spend three hours in the company of lovely people who have become friends."

Minnie Muse responded:

Marion Johnson reviewed: Lampworking Workshop: Taster Workshop

"10/10 Ticked every box. Firstly, any apprehension about using the equipment soon disappeared. Suzanne's studio and equipment are specifically adapted for safety and having 2 to 3 pupils per session ensures individuals receive guidance and reassurance when necessary. Secondly, Suzanne is skilled in her craft and she is a patient and encouraging teacher. She demonstrates and guides you through the various techniques. My beads were not bad for a first attempt. Would I do the course again ? - Yes, cannot wait, practice makes perfect. Thirdly, the location Barnard Castle, a unique market town that has not lost its identity, or community spirit. An ideal location for a spot of lunch and a browse around the interesting local shops. Quality course - well worth it and an enjoyable afternoon spent in the historic town of Barnard Castle."

Southwark Peace Garden reviewed: Traditional Leather Workshop (small leather goods)

"We loved working with Kingsley, who came down to our site to deliver a traditional workshop to a group of our young people (aged 11-15) and our staff. Kingsley’s content was tailored beautifully to be engaging and accessible for our young participants, who found him to be hugely inspiring. The technical aspects of the course were great, it was so brilliant to use traditional techniques to craft the wallets that each participant produced. We enjoyed learning how to carefully use the tools and to have the opportunity to consider or own design and style. We would love to have Kingsley do a workshop with us again and we are working with partners to enable this opportunity to happen on our site and others. Highly recommended!"

Sarah reviewed: How to make chocolate & candy bar bouquets online master class

"I attended Neelam's Chocolate & Candy Bouquet Live workshop a few months ago. She is a very talented crafter and I was amazed with how much I learnt in one day. I enjoyed making the different styles and I am now getting my orders for chocolate bouquet gifts. I was nervous at first, but she teaches step by step and even though I had no experience in making chocolate bouquets, I was very competent by the end of the day. I have been selling my chocolate and candy bouquets from my shop. Well worth the investment. thank you"
