Dave Mountain reviewed: Green wood tables workshop at Lambside Farm - Week 1 (6 Days) Week 2 (3days)

"I attended Peter's Introduction to Green Woodworking prior to attending the table course. No real knowledge of green woodworking prior to this. The table course was a great challenge, but with Peter's knowledge and guidance I now have a gorgeous new kitchen table that I'm so proud of. When I first flipped the assembled table over onto it's legs it brought a tear to my eyes and a tingle down my spine at what I'd achieved. Cannot recommend this course and Peter's skills and mentoring highly enough. I'll be back..."

Mr Peter Savage reviewed: Oak stool making experience - rustic carpentry & green wood work

"A truly excellent day creating a mountain of wood shavings, whilst having a brew. Ian is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very patient. The day flew by and to top it off I have an oak stool which is undoubtedly less wonky than anything I would have made without supervision. Cracking fun I highly recommend it!"

David Slater reviewed: Stained glass weekly classes in Sheffield (South Yorkshire)

"If you're interested in starting out in stained glass I can really recommend the ten week course. The course itself is well structured with three separate projects (the third being your own design), the studio is modern and well equipped, and Martin is an excellent teacher. I loved it, and will be going back for more in the future."

Kate Robinson reviewed: One-to-One Private workshop

"I had a fab day making a driftwood sea scene. Relaxed atmosphere with great music and very good tuition. Gigha is calm, precise with instructions and has a good sense of humour. She managed a fairly large group all doing different projects, with varying levels of ability very well. I will definitely be doing another course."

Sharon reviewed: Saturday Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop at Ransom's Pavilion, Hitchin 9.30am - 12.30pm

"Just finished an excellent jewellery making workshop with Tuuli today. Tuuli ran the course in a really friendly manner and I personally really appreciated the advice and the easy calm way she taught us, making us all feel relaxed and helped if something didn't always go according to plan! It was a really enjoyable and informative workshop and I've never had 3 hours go so quickly. I would have never have thought I could have produced something so good on a first attempt. I will definitely be back for another workshop."

Tuuli Parker responded:

"Thank you so much Sharon! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and am so glad you enjoyed the workshop. Hopefully see you again in 2020!"

"Well run course where we made a huge amount of chocolate gifts. Key skills were truffle making, tempering chocolate to make a chocolate box, bars and baubles! All then packaged ready for gift presentation. Lovely lunch and plenty of tea etc during the day and an afternoon tea at the end. We would highly recommend this course and it is excellent value for money."

Christa reviewed: Christmas Pudding - needle felting workshop with The Lady Moth

"Was really impressed by the one day course in Cambridge where we all made a needle felted barn owl on a log. I think it was one of Zenia's first improvers classes and I learnt some great new techniques that I couldn't have picked up at home. I'd really recommend her improvers class to anyone looking to improve and build on their basic skills. Was a really lovely day and well worth every penny. Thank you Zenia! :)"

Jayne Passey reviewed: Chocolate Discovery Day - Workshop 1 - A Beginners Guide

"Where do I start, what a fantastic course. Margaret certainly knows her chocolate, she is patient, kind and great fun. I spent the whole day tempering, molding and making a variety of chocolates. Margaret is an excellent teacher, explaining step by step how to make them. I am so glad I chose this course, at the end of the day I came away with mounds of handmade chocolates which I am very proud of, check out Margaret's facebook page for photos. My son asked when I was making more, when I asked of which type he listed each flavour as his favourite, so in other words all of them. Thank you Margaret I am sure I have my work cut out regularly making these treats for my friends and especially my son."

Confetti Chocolates responded:

"Thank you Jayne for your kind words, it was a pleasure to have met you and I am so pleased that you enjoyed your chocolate experience here at Confetti Cakes and Chocolates. I will look forward to seeing your future endeavours with chocolate in the near future."

Gail Appleton reviewed: One day silver jewellery making in Worcestershire.

"Jonathan was an excellent tutor and accommodated our family group, who had gathered together for a special birthday celebration, on his beautiful canal barge. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and we all came away with a piece of jewellery that we are thrilled with. Suffice to say we are planning another visit to learn how to make more pieces and the younger members of the family are keen to take this up as a hobby!"

Stella Ashmeade reviewed: One day silver jewellery making in Worcestershire.

"What a perfect day! Jonathan was so welcoming, relaxed and informative and the boat was a delight to be on for the day. We were welcomed with cups of tea and mid-morning mince-pies! Despite being a really cold day the wood-burning stove kept us very cosy. We did a one day jewellery making course where we designed our own rings. I thought the process was brilliantly explained and the practice in copper was just as enjoyable as the silver work. Jonathan also takes a lot of time to listen to your ideas and is so encouraging without being pushy. He is generous both with his time and the materials available. The course was worth every penny and I'm sure I will go back for further courses."

Vivien Gruar reviewed: Christmas Pudding - needle felting workshop with The Lady Moth

"I went to an 'improvers' workshop with Zenia/The Lady Moth to create a Barn Owl. I had seen the pictures of the owl online and just knew I had to try to make it! I am new to needle felting and so had started with an afternoon course with Zenia- I made a Robin and left her class feeling full of confidence. Zenia's teaching style is very relaxed-the pace is perfectly pitched and individual help is provided when needed. The owl workshop was 10am-4pm in a lovely bright room with delicious lunch provided. The other felters on the course were great company and with Zenia's careful instruction everyone made a fantastic owl. They were all completely unique and the experience was enriched by the atmosphere Zenia created where we all worked together. I am not a creative or crafty person but Zenia's clever designs and wonderful teaching made me feel I could take on any project! There were lots of tips and techniques which I found really helpful. Anyone wanting to learn to felt or to improve their skills could not find a better teacher than Zenia- she's amazing! I can't wait to do another class with her in 2020."
