"The kit that Melanie provided was excellent. Lots of lovely yarns, very well collated to allow lots of scope/flexibility and enough for 2 pictures. Beautifully presented too and kind to the environment. The course was excellent. Very friendly, the right pace and really good, clear instructions. The instruction booklet is also very good so I feel confident that I will be able to do more on my own. Melanie has lots of good advice about embellishing, stitching/embroidery etc as well, so I am really looking forward to finishing this project off. I thoroughly enjoyed this course and recommend it wholeheartedly."

"This was a beautiful course. Bronze casting was completely new to me and is one of the most interesting processes I have seen. The pace felt relaxed even though much was covered over the 3 days. David is kind, clear and has the perfect balance of giving plenty of guidance whilst still getting you to create your pieces independently. The location was peaceful, near beautiful woods for a walk and it was interesting to see work of craftsmen who use other parts of the building. I was really happy with what I produced and I can't recommend this course enough."

Raya is the most wonderful teacher; the classes are well organised and Raya is so patient and encouraging. I've tried lots of mediums from charcoal to pastels in this course and it's increased my confidence no end. I can't wait to start the intermediate class!"

"I had a beginner lesson with holly on her free motion embroidery, it's was brilliant! She went though everything so thoroughly and explained every step making sure I understood ( which in itself deserves a medal). "What can I say! Holly has the patience of a saint. I arrived at her workshop with my 6 year old sewing machine that I had , frankly, become scared of! Holly calmly took my daughter and i through all the basics and we ended our lesson managing to appliqué. She definitely ignited a love of sewing in me and will always be grateful for that. I’ve gone on to do other classes with Holly and can’t wait to book in for some more."

"Cannot recommend Holly and this course enough. I was a total novice and had never done anything on a machine before. Holly made it seem so easy and explained everything really well. I asked a million questions and nothing was too much trouble, even with interruptions on my part (I was also breastfeeding a 5 month old baby at the time!). Absolutely 100% recommend to anyone and everyone! Her products are amazing too!!"
