Debr reviewed: Beginners Pottery Day Course

"My teenage daughter and I as complete, beginners, spent a day with Matthew at his studio earlier this week. Such a memorable experience for all the right reasons. Our expectations were exceeded. Within a few hours we were making cylinders and bowls. Matthew has a warm, welcoming, genuine personality and was fabulously patient with us throughout. From never having thrown clay to ending the day with a range of beautiful pottery is testimony to his teaching skills and methodology. Music selection whilst we worked was spot on also!"

Dimbleby Ceramics - Studio Pottery Courses responded:

"Hi Debra, thank you for the lovely review. It was great to see you both achieve so much in just one day. I had a fantastic day teaching both of you and seeing you both progress throughout the day. Best wishes Mathew"

Karen Osler reviewed: One to One Candle Making Business One Day Course (Bexley -London)

"This week I spent the most amazing day with Paula on a 1-2-1 course for candle making. I learnt so much and have saved myself hours of research as Paula had so many of the answers I was looking for. The day was full on yet very relaxed and in such a beautiful setting. Paula is so easy to get on with, so informed and, whilst it was a very relaxed day, Paula's knowledge and professionalism also shone through. I felt the day was totally structured around me and what I needed to learn and the pace was just perfect. Oh, I also made some amazing candles too! I am so excited now to start my own business and feel that this course has not only given me the essential skills and knowledge but, most of all, the confidence to achieve this. Thank you Paula! PS - the Gypsy Tart was delicious!"

Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co. responded:

"Thank you for leaving this wonderful review. Please keep in touch. Paula"

Rona M reviewed: Felted abstract collage using pre-felt with Purr & Wag It, Tabletop Workshops

"This was a really informative and enjoyable workshop. I had done other felting workshops before but I’m confident this would be also be suitable for  complete beginner. I was guided through a range of techniques and was able to complete a picture working alongside Heather in the second half of the video. I’d suggest not starting with a design but pausing in the middle to assemble it once you’ve seen the various ways this can be achieved. I  came away with the understanding of how to make further pieces on my own and feel inspired to keep going! Highly recommended."

Becky R reviewed: Art in the Garden

"I could not recommend this enough! Brian is a great tutor who really helps you create a design you will love. He has art books on hand to inspire & so many of his own incredible makes around the beautiful building you cant help but feel creative. I have never done any glass work before and have come away with a wonderfully sizable piece (aprox 130cm by 30cm) which I'm incredibly proud of and know my friends visiting the garden will love (and probably be slightly jelous of). The price of this course, for the amount you learn, the final piece you can create and the fun you will have, is worth every penny and much more! You can also buy some unique handmade pieces like jewellery and cocktail stirrers which he sells online but getting to see them in real life (without extra postage) is a special treat. Thanks so much for a wonderful few days!"

"A really enjoyable course! I loved making the journal and Cass's video tutorials were clear and concise and broken down well into manageable sessions.
