Description

Enjoy a fun morning crafting your own fabric tote bag. Learn how to use a printing block and a variety of colours to design and make your unique printed cotton tote bag. Katy will teach you a range of fabric printing techniques. Then we will print our own bag. Set in a beautiful barn studio. Set in gorgeous Yorkshire countryside, north of Leeds. Ample free parking, very accessible. Free cake and refreshments. Take home your completed bag. Other textiles and felting workshops available. Children aged 10+ are very welcome. They must be accompanied by an adult - parent / guardian.

Katy is a feltmaker, felt artist and teacher. She has taught Art, Design & Technology and Textiles in secondary schools for 24 years. She now runs her own art / craft business. Katy offers a variety of workshops, attends Fairs and exhibits. She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association.

Yes children are very welcome. The workshop is suitable for children aged 10+.
All children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.

Reference pictures are available.

There is ample free parking at the venue.
You can park on the grass of the private venue.

Your tutor will bring her own Kits which will be for sale:
A goody bag including yarns, threads and a worksheet are available to take home.

Decaf tea and coffee. Bottled water.
Soya milk.

The venue has no steps and can be easily accessed by wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
You can also park right beside the venue entrance.
