Description

Evening introduction to working with silver clay to create your own solid silver pair of earrings or charms. A fun evening out for friends; the start of a new hobby; a taster of a new skill! In this fun 3 hour beginners course, we cover the key skills to work with the magical material of silver clay - a clay, literally made out of silver particles, that you can model and shape, then dry out, fire with a blow torch, then polish and you are left with solid silver jewellery. Learn how to plan out your design, shape and add pattern to the clay, to refine your design and then to use a hand held blow torch to fire the clay and polish it ready to wear home.. Choose from a range of design options and make either a pair of dangly earrings, or a charm / pendant on a necklace, ready to wear home and show off your new skills! Maximum class size of 3 people at my dedicated workshop space here in Camden Town, London NW1

FAQs

My classes have a maximum of 3 students - or less.
This is partly to ensure everyone has adequate space and tools to work comfortably, but also to ensure each student can have the best experience and have enough support and attention to ensure that everyone can get as much as possible out of their day.

There is no allocated parking.
Parking is possible on the neighbouring streets - this is just standard on street parking - to pay digitally to the council. Or there are paid car parks not too far away.
I do not recommend driving unless you have no other option - the location is very well served by public transport.

I teach only those people over 18 years old. So only if your children are adults!

I'm very sorry but my space is not accessible - there are steps at the front door to enter the property, and the main workshop and toilet are both on the lower ground floor, downstairs. I am very sorry about this.

I am located in Camden Town - in central London - NW1 - just a 5 minute walk from either Camden Town station on the Northern Line tube, or also from Camden Road Overground station. Full address details provided with your booking confirmation.
