Description
Opposite the walled garden at Mells ( near Frome) , this workshop uses the fresh leaves to print unique designs into fabric. The day will start by looking at examples of designs created using the heat press and the tutor will demonstrate the technique . You will prepare leaves for printing and also paint dye papers to be used for backgrounds , each stage of the process will be demonstrated . In the afternoon you will print designs onto fabric using the heat press, the results are unique and often quite surprising !
