Description

Cushions really make a home…and on this workshop you can choose the type of cushion that would suit your home style. There are different closures, envelope – zipped – buttons – ties and of course many fabrics. You can learn how to include piping, pompoms, applique, patchwork. You can make them for inside or outside your home. We will send you a fabric list before the workshop. This workshop takes place in our Sewing School. We have brand new Janome sewing machines for you to use, overlocker, plus all the other tools, equipment and sewing ‘notions’. Sue Cotten will be your teacher: “Sue Cotten is a life-long maker of anything creative with particular interest in textiles, sewing, paper crafting and a prolific hoarder of ‘stash’! Sue is a fun teacher with a wealth of skills, tips and tricks she loves to share. Everyday is a school day in Sue’s classes. Sue works with various brands, demoing and teaching at The Festival of Quilts and all the major Sewing Events.” We have sewing machines you can use, but if you prefer to bring your own you are very welcome to. This workshop takes place upstairs in our new sewing school and I’m afraid we do not have a lift. We do have a toilet and refreshment station upstairs.
