Learn to knit Fair Isle at Debbie Bryan, with Tanya. This workshop is for Intermediate knitters Have you mastered the basics and want to learn Fair Isle? In this workshop you will learn how to knit a traditional Fair Isle pattern, how to handle two yarns and read Fair Isle charts and patterns. You will also learn the benefits of knitting fair Isle in the round and what steeking is! As well as learning the practical side of knitting, you will learn a bit of history behind this fascinating technique. Your tutor - Tanya is an awarding winning knitwear designer with over 20 years hand and machine knitting experience. She specialises in Fair Isle and Gansey knitting and has enjoyed teaching people to knit in various knitting clubs across the country.
