Anna reviewed: Make paper from wild and garden plants

"Bryan was an amazing teacher. I’ve learnt so much about paper making, using both recycled paper and natural plant materials. We gathered some materials from the land, then made beautiful golden paper from straw, and lush green paper from giant sedge. Bryan kindly provided dried leaf and flower decorations. He is very knowledgable, answering all my questions about how I might be able to make paper stone age style, and summit farm is a really lovely communal venue. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in making paper in a way that is aligned with nature, and it was well worth my trip from Brighton to do :). Looking forward to making my comic out of natural inks and paper! "

Gilly reviewed: Make paper from autumn leaves

"This was a nice thing to do but you need to wrap up as it was mainly outside and cold in the room. There wasn’t quite enough to do so we finished early. Maybe Brian could have prepared a few more different materials as we only used leaves ( worked well) and bracken which he hadn’t tried before and which didn’t work so well. He’s obviously very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the day!"

Wild Plant Paper responded:

"Thanks Gilly for your review. Sorry for the miscommunication, there was some other material we could have used, I got the feeling people had done all that they wanted to! Lesson learned, I will check I have understood what people are feeling next time. All the best Bryan "
