"I wanted to try bobbin lace for ages and decided to do this course with Tina. I was clear from the start that I was not sure it was for me but Tina was very supportive and encouraged me. I managed to make a snake bookmark to take home and was pleased with that, but, despite Tina's best efforts, I won't be carrying on with this craft. Thanks for your support and kindness Tina."

"I attended my first lacemaking class on Friday 24th Jan. I enjoyed the day and look forward to the next class. It was good to have everything supplied for the first class. The class was very friendly and consisted of people of varying abilities. Tina was a great teacher and was able to spread her time with all the participants. I would highly recommend these workshops. "I knew almost nothing about bobbin lacemaking but the little I saw on YouTube looked like fun so I signed up for Tina's weekend course. Tina has so much knowledge and experience and yet she has the patience of a saint as she helped us learn the stitches. I felt so proud when I managed to actually create some lace. Stephen was great, providing us with many cups of tea and coffee as well as giving a lesson on how to spangle bobbins. I am so glad I went on the course and the bonus is Tina has a fortnightly class so I can keep progressing with her support. Thank you so much Tina & Stephen for a great weekend and looking forward to many more happy hours of lacemaking."

"I have struggled to find a lace teacher and travelled about 60 miles to this class; I was not disappointed. Tina is an excellent teacher and she was so encouraging and skilled - not just at making lace but in teaching too. Tina and Stephen made us very welcome, and home made cake went down very well with our morning teas and coffees. I would recommend Tina’s courses unreservedly whether you are a beginner or are more experienced. I had a most enjoyable day and the time flew by. Can’t wait for the next one!"

"It was a wonderful experience. I was a total beginner, but Tina was so kind and patient. The whole day was a lovely experience, as have tea and cake, and a nice environment. More importantly, Tina explained it so well and didn't mind sharing her knowledge. You don't need to buy a lot of tools, etc. to experience it, they will provide it for the student, which is way easier for a new beginner to try it out. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. "
