The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.
"This course was such a great experience. Suz was so informative and made us feel extremely welcome. We all really enjoyed the experience and have since looked at booking more courses with Suz. "
"One of the best day courses I’ve done. Beautiful setting in the woods. Suz is laid back and managed to teach us how to make a very passable basket. Would do again and would definitely recommend. "
"A wonderful, restorative and theraputic activity in a tranquil setting. Suz was a great teacher; the day was paced perfectly and we all left with a lovely, useful (some more wonky than others!) basket."
