I started picture framing as a retirement project and because I had lots of colleagues in the military who had their own mementos, signed prints etc and wanted them framed. I find framing quite therapeutic, taking a few materials and turning them into something beautiful, something I’d have on my wall. I like keeping the amount of framing I do to an enjoyable level and, having been an instructor in the past, feel that I can help bring some of that enjoyment to others.

"I had a brilliant time framing some embroidery with Ady and would recommend this course to anyone, I was very pleased with the result and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Ady's instruction was always clear and the day was well-structured with plenty of time to learn more and ask questions. Beforehand I was worried there might be noisy machinery but I need not have worried - the tools are manually or pedally operated, which makes for a nicely relaxing quiet environment. Attention to safety was good, and lunch and snacks were at just the right intervals."

"A thoroughly, informative, well structured, satisfying and useful workshop. Ady explained everything clearly. He was patient and together we produced a stunning product that I now have hanging at home. The quality of the finished frame was excellent and as good as you would ever get in a framing shop. Ady also provided morning coffee, biscuits and an excellent soup and roll for lunch. All in all, an excellent day. Thoroughly recommended for anyone starting out and wishing to frame for yourself or indeed as a launchpad to start a business. Thank you. "
