"I had a lovely weekend. I was on my own in the class, but Steve made me feel very welcome. He was very patient, despite my short term memory not being what it used to be, so I felt I was constantly asking him to remind me of the next step. He was very generous with his knowledge, time and materials and I came away exhausted from two really full days, but delighted with the pieces I had made, as well as Steve's demo piece (he also kindly gave my sister a piece when she came to collect me). I've been fusing glass for a few years, but this was my first time working with enamels and I'm keen to do more. Lovely lunch included, as well as tea and biscuits when required. I can thoroughly recommend."
"My very first taster session in glass fusing a curved tealight, was both inspirational and fabulous! Steve made me feel very welcome and at ease, helping to guide my ideas into reality. The finished project was even better than I had imagined. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop."
Vivid Glass Art responded:
"Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your review Andi.
I am really glad you enjoyed the glass, and your tealight came out brilliantly I thought.
All the best,
Steve"
"I spent an exciting and productive day last Saturday working on glass with enamels, something I had never done before. Steve Robinson was patient and informative. He had to cope with two people who had very different capabilities when it came to working with glass. One had her own kiln and had come to learn more about her craft, whereas l had no experience at all. Steve judged the amount of technical information brilliantly, keeping the interest of both of us, whilst still imparting the techniques that the other lady required.
We both produced pieces that we could be proud of, and agreed that we would enjoy further courses in the future.
Many thanks for a great day!"
