Hello, I'm Ali. I am graduate of the internationally renowned School of Jewellery (SOJ), located in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Since completing my studies, I have served as an Artist in Residence and Technical Specialist at SOJ, and I currently work as a Visiting Tutor, supporting students of all ages.
My expertise goes beyond jewellery, extending into silversmithing, where I craft larger pieces through traditional hammer-forging techniques. I have also expanded my skill set to include woodturning and woodworking, which I often incorporate into my silver designs.
My passion for creating is equally matched by my love for teaching. There’s nothing I enjoy more than inspiring others, and guiding them as they bring their unique designs to life - an experience that is as rewarding for me as it is for them.
Each class is limited to just two students, ensuring personalised guidance and a tailored experience - perfect for beginners with no prior experience needed. All classes are held at my workshop studio in Knutton, Newcastle-under-Lyme where I have two fully set-up jeweller's benches and all the tools you need.
