I am lucky to be living my dream, working in beautiful surroundings creating art. Being an artist can be quite isolating so I love to open my studio for workshops as it means I get to paint things that I wouldn't get chance to in my normal working day. I love to show people how to get the most out of a medium and see the excitement when a picture takes form. I am so happy to announce my new improved studio is now open to the public and I now stock quality art supplies at great prices.

"Great introduction to pastels. Heather was a lovely person and an excellent teacher. I hadn't realised that the session was one-to-one, which made the process much more beneficial and personal than being in a group. Learned a lot. Highly recommended."

"Heather very supportive of a complete novice, the studio is a great environment, close to the canal with all its comings and goings. My friend and I were encouraged to use our creativity to great effect and we had a great day and lovely picture. Heather so helpful and supportive and put us at our ease. It wasn't just the painting, she had booked a table for lunch at the pub and actually took us there. She went more than the extra mile. A lady of great generosity with both her skill and time. We had a thoroughly enjoyable session thank you"

"What a fantastic course. Coming as a beginner, Heather's easy way of explaining and answering my questions made my day a really valuable experience. Her knowledge and skills were shared with ease and I had a thoroughly amazing day, which went very quickly! I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn the magic of soft pastels. The icing on the cake were the unison pastels, pastel paper and pencils I was given to take home and enjoy! I will be going back for sure!"
