"Sarah's course was like the alchemy of her glasswork; simple, brilliant and fun! Her attention to detail, kindness and generosity with her time and knowledge made the course such a wonderful experience. With Sarah's guidance it seems I'm quite creative. Who knew!! Cannot wait to see how everything else turns out and look forward to the next course in August! Thank you very much. Nicki x"

"Really enjoyed my starter lesson, which was a gift from the husband. Sarah was very friendly and welcoming, and the studio was lovely to work in. Lots of different materials to use, and Sarah described everything really well. I'd more than happily go back again and have another go, to try out different ideas. Looking forward to seeing my finished pieces!"

"A fairly heavy layer of overnight snow tried to dampen (and chill) our spirits, but we were greeted with a steaming hot cup of tea/coffee and a warm workshop, so we were not deterred. Sarah was great at making us feel welcome and we were soon busy learning how to cut glass. Before we knew it we had made a simple pendant, and were even able to see it being fired in a mini-microwave kiln. It was good to be encouraged to take before and after photos (so do have your camera ready) as it is lovely to see the transformation from fairly rough cut glass to a smooth, finished piece. We then set about making a sun-catcher. There were plenty of different resources to use, not just glass, so we had a good range of colours and items to be able to blend into our pieces. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging. Sarah was good at guiding whilst encouraging us to do what we wanted - not what she thought we should do. This must be a fine balance and I think she did this well. The two hours flew by. Within a couple of days we were able to pick up our pieces at a time convenient to us. I would thoroughly recommend this course to those who are novices to those who have dabbled a little too. Thank you Sarah"

"The 'Glass Fusing' Course was a surprise birthday gift and what a wonderful surprise it was too! The two hours seemed to go quickly. I have never experienced glass fusing yet I found the course both interesting and enjoyable, different to other experiences I have had such as sewing and painting. The instructor was very knowledgeable, amenable and helpful, her explanations were clear. A very creative course: I had a great feeling of achievement by making a coaster, a pendant and for extra fun - a cocktail twirler!! Lovely items on display to inspire and give you ideas to further boost your creativity. I would recommend this course."

"Sarah is a great teacher, allowing free reign of her amazing workshop to use a wide range of materials to make a number of glass items. The two hours went really quickly and I came away with creations that I can put on show. Brilliant value and highly recommended"

"I was bought this taster session by my brother and sister in law for Christmas . What a great idea. Never done anything like this before . I went with my bestie and we had Sarah's undivided attention as she taught us how to make our own jewellery and glass items. She explained about all the different types of glass and how to use them. Thoroughly enjoyed it , its quite tricky at first but very creative. The pieces came out really well . I made a pendant, a bracelet and a beach scene to hang in the window. Hayley made a ring, a pendant and glass to hang up in the window. Great fun and would definitely recommend her class. A fun way to try something different."

"I went along with a friend to the taster lesson. This was my first experience of glass fusing and has been a fun start. Sarah began the session with an introduction to the basic glass cutting tools and techniques. Then she demonstrated layering to make a simple piece of jewelry. Whey my pendant was being fired in the microwave kiln, she explained different fusing materials and their unique effects. I'm pleased with what I could achieve in 2 hour. Meanwhile I'm fascinated by the broad subject of glass fusing. I've managed to use 2 fusing materials for my sun catcher; I'd love to see my friend's which used materials different from mine. Since the course, I try to learn about from a couple of websites and I'm considering of taking more sessions to try out different fusing materials."
