"My wife gifted me this course and I’m so glad she did. From the warm welcome to the expert tuition with as much hands on tools as I was willing to try, Les’ session was outstanding. Although a competent DIYer, I am a novice at wood turning and came only with the most basic outlines of ideas, yet with Les’ help I turned out a really lovely (and useful) beech bowl with double channel for me to use as phone stand and nick nacks on my dressing table, and a stunning (if I say so myself) simple but elegant oak stand for our table candle vase. I’m already thinking of design improvements for my phone stand and contemplating a return session for more. Thanks Les!"

"What an amazing day. Les was an absolutely brilliant tutor. If you're looking for a taster session or more skilled learning Les absolutely knows his stuff. We had a sterling half day - a very informative, patient, adaptable fun session with a master of his craft. "Great day. Really clear instructions beforehand and a friendly, informative, and enjoyable session all round. I managed to make a couple of things that turned out really well and were of very high quality. I learned loads about wood turning, from safety through to tools and technique.
