Maker's bio

Rachel’s formative years were spent training in multi media Arts & Crafts. Going on to complete a BA Hons in designed Jewellery. Upon completing her Degree, Rachel went on to specialise as a precious metal smith. Working within a noble metals business, as a precious metals fabricator. Rachel specialises in working with Platinum, Palladium, Gold & Silver. Here at Oldman House Studio we provide jewellery craft workshops for the complete beginner to those with more experience. "We really loved this class. Rachel was great and super accommodating. She was able to give me an alternative style ring design that was more suited to a male hand! Both myself and my partner came away with some lovely pieces that we really enjoyed the process of making. "Silver jewellery stacking rings workshop (Saturday 14th September 2024) I took my mum as a gift, and we both had a blast! Rachel is delightful, and so helpful and knowledgeable. The workshop is very relaxed, yet organised. We learnt lots, are absolutely thrilled with what we made, and are very keen to come back and try another workshop soon! It's also the first course I've booked through Craft Courses, and I'd feel confident to use this platform again. "
