Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!

"A very positive and creative time with Lindsey. She was so patient as I hadn't tried this craft before. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and very happy I managed to make a ring and earrings to take home."
Bench Box responded:
"Thanks for your lovely review and for coming along Margaret. The jewellery you made was lovely, I hope you enjoy wearing it too!"
"Great venue with friendly staff and plenty of parking.
Lindsay friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
Loved first session of course - clay easy to work with and you can be as creative as you want. Made several pieces in first session and can't wait to see how they turn out after firing next week."
"Excellent course and Lindsay was absolutely fantastic. I was a complete beginner and was amazed at what I learned and the jewellery I created! The venue From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield was a beautiful, quirky treasure trove of things to buy. We were in the lovely workshop upstairs. Overall a great experience & extremely good value!!"
