Trained as a traditional jeweller, I create vibrant silver and nylon jewellery. I enjoy sharing my skills with others and encouraging you to use your creativity. I lead children's art workshops and adult jewellery workshops and am also available for wedding and engagement ring commissions.
In my own work I take my inspiration from mathematical models, geometric shapes and the interwoven curves, circles and figures produced by a Spirograph toy. I see these forms around me in nature eg. shells
"I had a wonderful time with Katy. She made me feel really welcome and I learnt a lot. I also came away with a lovely and I think very wearable piece of jewellery. Thank you so much for today Katy, I am still smiling."
Katy Luxton Jewellery responded:
"Thank you Amanda, for a lovely review. I am glad you enjoyed it."
"Really enjoyable morning. Katy explains things so well, we all had a good result to take home. Could have done a whole day as you learn so much with the first casting it would have been good to have had another go.
Venue is lovely if a little bit out the way and the cake is just scrumptious.
I look forward to a return visit to do some silversmithing.
Thank you Katy."
