Basket making for beginners using traditional willow basketry techniques
"This was a brilliant day! Jonny and Becky are great tutors - patient and unflappable - and the whole basket making process was a joy. My basket looks unbelievably great and I'm definitely inspired to do another basket day.
Make sure you book a lunch too - delicious!!"
"Thanks for a fantastic experience basket making. Something I have wanted to do for a little while now and really happy with the results. Great day and location and lovely food as well! "
"This was our second visit to Jonny and Becky for basketmaking and we will be booking again soon. My 80 year old Mum was determined to come back! They are both such great teachers. They are both infinitely patient and gracious and encouraging. At every step you are coached and enabled in the process. We came away with beautiful baskets and a sense of achievement. The second visit was good too as we have consolidated some of the techniques. Our thumbs were not so sore and neither were our shoulders - it's quite a physical craft. Don't deliberate - book it! You won't regret this. And if you can afford it, definitely book the lunch. It was excellent. "
Basket Making Malvern responded:
"It was so lovely to work with you both again Petra!
You have made some very fine looking baskets and we'd be honoured to work with you again.
Thank you
Becky and Jonny

"Just an amazing day! Becky and Johnny were everywhere solving our confusion with amazing patience, and they are both real people persons. Great food, so book the lunch if you can. Lovely work space in the barn. Johnny's music taste is perfect :) It's hard work though so be prepared to be shattered and a bit sore from thumbing willow all day. We went home with our lovely baskets and the cat has moved into one already. I didn't think I could produce something so beautiful. Thanks "
