"I spent an amazing day with Jo learning how to make a hare. Jo is a wonderful and patient teacher who gave me confidence in my skills to make a beautiful hare! The studio is set in Jo’s beautiful garden a lovely setting for some of her work, and a perfect place to learn an art skill. I am so proud of my moon gazing hare and look forward to returning to make other items with Jo. Thank you for a perfect day"

"I spent a fabulous Easter Monday with Jo and a lovely group of ladies learning a new skill… I never would have imagined being capable of unleashing my inner creativity and going home at the end of a fun day the proud owner of a running hare! Jo (and her husband) were the perfect hosts and Jo is a highly skilled teacher of her art, making each of the steps involved in making the sculptures easy to understand. I would recommend this course to anyone of any age who wants to spend a lovely day in beautiful surroundings learning to create something original and beautiful ? Thank you Jo!!"

"Such a beautiful location for Jo’s workshop. I had so much fun, relaxed and learnt so much throughout the day and now have an amazing hare sculpture to display in my garden. I came away with new skills and can now create my own sculptures starting with the kit I bought to make a seated yoga figure."

"I can’t recommend Jo’s course highly enough. We had a fabulous weekend in Jo’s beautiful studio. I was a little nervous being a complete novice but this is such well thought through course. Jo manages that perfect balance of expertise, with perfectly timed gentle nudges in the right direction, and freedom to create. Andy provided the armature cores which provide the perfect start. I am just so proud of my dog. He makes me smile every time I look at him and am so looking forward to trying out my hare and person kits - although I’ll give my hands a little rest first ! Thank you for a very special weekend Jo and Andy."

"What an excellent course! I'm hooked! I had a thoroughly enjoyable day learning the basics of the craft. Jo skilfully demonstrated the whole process from beginning to end before we started and, throughout, gave encouraging tuition knowledge and artistic skills in a gentle manner. The facilities are great, and it's a lovely relaxed environment in which to learn a new skill. Ample refreshment was provided throughout the day. I highly recommend Jo's sculpting course and I'm very keen to return!"

"Wow what a fabulous experience in the most wonderful of surroundings with lots of hares for inspiration. Very relaxed and humorous at times. Jo is an amazing tutor, friendly patient and extremely knowledgeable. With step by step instructions and demonstrations it was easy to come away with a beautiful Leaping Hare that will take pride of place in my lounge. I cant wait to return in the future to make a larger sitting hare for my garden. Thanks for giving us all an amazing workshop/experience and keeping us hydrated throughout."

"What a fantastic experience, I can't recommend Jo enough! A truly wonderful day! Jo is a natural, patient teacher who offered advice throughout the day to ensure our finished sculptures looked fabulous. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. ‘Harriet’ hare takes pride and place in the garden and has been admired by many, but I couldn’t have made such a good job without Jo’s guidance. I love being creative but have never done anything like this before and fell in love with it. I can’t wait to start on the kit I bought home with me. Thanks Jo x"

"25/26th March 22 What a fantastic 2 days I’ve had. The most wonderful setting for just doing your project with Jo’s sculpture’s dotted around the grounds, as if you needed more encouragement! Jo is so enthusiastic and encouraging, she is with you every step of the way. This is the second two day workshop I have done, the first being a leaping hare, he sits in my garden quite happily but now this time I’ve done ‘The Lady’ she is a metre high and I’m so proud of her. It was a lovely group of 4 of us all doing different things and Jo was at our side every step of the way, what more could you want! WILL be coming again. Thank you so much xx"

"I have just returned home from the most fabulous 2 day sculpture course with Jo in very sunny Suffolk. Through various emails before the course I just knew that I was dealing with the most lovely knowledgeable professional and I wasn’t wrong. Jo oozes enthusiasm and it is infectious. I ambitiously chose an intertwining couple sculpture, as usual doing a marathon before I could walk - BUT with Jo’s patience and guidance it is finished and will be proudly displayed in my garden. Thank you to Andy, Jo’s husband, for providing his welding skills and tea skills. This course was incredible. I met some lovely talented people and I am looking forward to my next project. I travelled from London and it was well worth it. (Stayed in the Premier Inn in Bury St Edmunds town ) Thank you so much Jo, I loved every minute!"

"Had a lovely day making my very wonky looking hare (down to me, not Jo). Incredibly well organised. All materials were pre-measured and pre-cut which really helped the day run smoothly. I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a great day and it has left me feeling inspired to do more. Even though I am a "materials nerd" I discovered new products which I hope to use in my own work as a puppeteer. Jo was an extremely welcoming, kind and encouraging teacher and I would highly recommend anyone to go on this course. Added bonus were her two lovely dogs!"
