Celi has been working with green wood since 2010, they were self taught and then took on an apprenticeship in teaching the craft, woodland management and green building in 2017. Since then they have worked in forestry, making and selling their craft, and teaching. As well as setting up the project at Golden Hill Wood.
Golden Hill Wood is run by myself, Celi and my partner, Reyna. It is a woman owned project and we endevour to use female and minority gender teachers wherever possible. We also engage the public through volunteer days and projects to aid the management of the land and help people to develop skills.

Coffee Table/Bench Making in the Woods - Beginner Green Woodworking course
"A great weekend with Celi and my fellow woodworkers! I loved the setting and setup she has created - and her teaching style and pace really helped me get the most out of the course. I really enjoyed learning about all the methods of working with wood and using varied tools for specific functions. Lunch around the fire and spending time with like-minded people was a great escapism. Coming away with my bench was almost a bonus! I'd highly recommend the experience."
"We had a brilliant weekend making our coffee table. Celi was great at explaining all the steps and guiding us through making it. Would highly recommend! "
"I booked this course as a birthday present for my friend. We had a lovely day under the shelter in the woods. Celi was a great teacher, and we all came away with an individual hand carved spoon."
"We both had a great day with Celi learning how to carve wooden spoons. Such a beautiful location and wonderful craft. Highly recommend. "
