Michelle has been needlefelting for over a decade and teaching for nine years. With over 2000 previous students and venues across the country she is highly in demand. Courses and private parties are also offered at her workshop in Somerset. Crowood Press have recently published her book: Needlefelting an illustrated guide to creating characters from wool.

"Had a really fabulous day with the lovely Michelle. She was warm, friendly, knowledgable and as a complete novice who’d never even picked up a needle, I came away feeling confident and thrilled with my hare, made during the day. My workshop was at Bowdens Farm at the Furzie studio, which was a great location and an absolute awe inspiring treasure trove for Michelle’s incredible felt creations. Would highly recommend, felting really is a wonderful meditative craft and Michelle’s guidance and tuition was a brilliant introduction to my felting journey."

"What a lovely day! I spent it with Michelle and one other lady, and made a beautiful replica of our Cockapoo. I didn’t think I’d be able to complete something which seemed potentially difficult but Michelle showed us in very easy stages how to make a wire frame and then gradually build up the body and head. It was fascinating to see how it developed and took on our dog’s character. It was a lovely relaxed day with lunch chosen from a delicious menu, provided by one of the other artisan businesses on the farm. I would recommend it wholeheartedly. "

"Excellent course, really enjoyed the relaxed pace and instruction especially as this was a craft never tried previously. Michelle's enthusiasm for the craft and gentle reassurance to trust in the process was both infectious and reassuring. Great lunch provided. Would highly recommend. "

"Wow! What a fantastic day! I booked this workshop for me and my mum. We had such a lovely time and were so pleased with what we made on the day - they were both far better than we expected to come away with. Michelle was lovely and so knowledgeable and had the patience of a saint! The venue was fab too and to top it off we had a lovely lunch! Thank you Michelle for a fantastic day - we will definitely be back! :)"
