"Brilliant day in such a quaint gorgeous little shop/craft venue which smells divine. Julie and her assistant were so attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I booked the course for my 13 year old granddaughter as a birthday treat and she thoroughly enjoyed herself and was amazed at being able to produce her very own soap and cosmetics. Her parents said she talked about the experience none stop when she got back home which was refreshing in itself. The lunch/afternoon tea was excellent and very nicely presented. I think the value of the products we left with almost exceeded the cost of the course - no added material costs! "

"My wife bought me the Container Candle Making workshop as a birthday gift because I had recently developed an interest in reusing the residual wax from used candles, with mixed results. Jools and Janet gave a warm welcome to all attending. Jools delivered the course at a pace to suit all and made sure none of us were left behind. Her knowledge and experience with an extensive choice of materials and fragrances was evident. The afternoon tea was lovely and presented beautifully on trays and we all made some fabulous candles and wax melts to bring home. A thoroughly delightful and productive experience, which I would highly recommend. "

"What a beautiful day, Had the best time at crafters cottage making soaps and natural body care products. Julie and Jools were so welcoming and I had the best day ever and I did what I was dreaming for. Julie was very knowledgeable, helpful and the way she taught was amazing. "What a lovely day! Had the best time at crafters cottage making soaps and natural body care products. Julie and Janet were so welcoming and lovely. Julie was very knowledgeable and led the workshop in a really fun and interesting way but also full of handy tips and information we needed to know if we wanted to make our own products afterwards. It was great that we were in a group of 8 which meant that we made some really nice connections with each other but also small enough to be able to ask Julia any questions we needed to. A really lovely day that I would thoroughly recommend! "

"This was such a fun course, honestly had the best time ever. Attended with a friend as a part of her surprise birthday treat and she loved it. We got to make and take home so many goodies; I’ve gave mine to some of my family members who love the products. The afternoon tea provided was divine! My only complaint is that we have to walk through the shop which is full of goodies and I couldn’t help splurge on the amazing products they had! Went home with too many shopping bags!! Haha, thanks so much for an amazing time. 10/10 defo recommend!"

"I received this cold process making course as a Christmas gift and what a fabulous gift this was. Julie’s course was well thought out, personal and a lovely way of spending a rainy morning. The whole process was explained and demonstrated, with support given throughout your own practical time. Julie shared some excellent top tips, and showed us how to finish our creations with beautifully simple packaging. The afternoon tea was simply divine and there was some left over to take home. I’d highly recommend any of the courses Julie provides as she shows you how to learn a new skill in such a supportive and fun way. We had lots of laughter and found a creative way to spend a rainy day."
