Metalwork Craft weekend with The Iron Lady - Bradwell Blacksmiths
"I attended the weekend metal work course at the beginning of May. I'd just retired from a very stressful job working in metal health. I felt that I was looking for 'something', I didn't know what but I knew I needed a new direction in life! Before the end of the first day on this course, I knew that I'd found my direction! I can honestly say that I loved every second of this course. Natalie is an excellent tutor and has a way about her that inspires confidence and encourages even the least experienced people to experiment, be creative and 'have a go'! If you are looking for a course that is practical and really allows you to use your imagination and creativity, then this will definitely 'tick all the boxes'. I loved it and I'm already looking into getting a welder and plasma cutter. "
"I recently did the 1 Day Mig, Tig and Stick course on the 12th Oct, I highly recommend it. Natalie is an amazing teacher, she is friendly, informative and supremely skilled in all aspects of her trade. She is very keen to share her knowledge and she will patiently guide you when you blow holes in your welded part and point out where things are going wrong. The one day course is a great introduction to TIG, MIG and Stick welding, each having their own specific way of creating a weld. Once Natalie has done a instructional talk on the type of welding you will be trying next you are encouraged to crack on with it and give it a go. She is on hand should you have questions, and you will, and you are then at your leisure to try out the technique. The day seemed to fly by when I did the course, you just want to stay and keep practicing. Thanks for a great day Natalie! Top tip on a final note - take along a box of assorted luxury biscuits for Natalie, yourself and your fellow students for coffee/tea break - it's the Law! "
"I attended Natalie’s weekend course on 13th & 14th April this year and I can’t thank her enough for such a fantastic experience!
I was nervous to the point of hyperventilating when I arrived, and in all honesty I was only there because my husband bought me the course as a Christmas present shortly before he died. Natalie soon put me at ease, she is such a natural teacher, able to explain and teach the techniques in an easy to understand manner, run through the safety aspects in a meaningful way and so patient, particularly on the second day when we were let loose on our individual projects and we were all wanting her attention. I made a lovely garden wall hanging in memory of my husband and did something right out of my comfort zone in a very supportive setting.
Keep doing what you’re doing Natalie your enthusiasm is boundless!"
