Gina and Kirsten reviewed: SAORI creative weaving day

"We attended the one day workshop with Amanda at BEAUTIFULcloth SAORI Studio. We had a wonderful day weaving in our chosen colours. The studio is well equipped and we had plenty of time to learn and practice the techniques that Amanda taught is over the day. We are delighted with our finished textiles, which we will be hanging in our respective homes. The studio is well situated close to independent shops, so it is worth allowing time to visit the bakery, bookshop and health food shop. Free car park just five minutes’ walk away. "

Helen Morgan reviewed: SAORI weaving taster session

"I thoroughly recommend Amanda’s 2 hour Saori weaving session, even if you’ve done some traditional weaving before. I found the Saori philosophy refreshingly inspiring - encouraging inner creativity and expression (that I find can be difficult to access) to evolve into a lovely weaving sample to take home. I’m looking forward to booking a day course to continue learning about the Saori techniques."

Annette reviewed: SAORI weaving taster session

"I can absolutely recommend Amanda's two hour SAORI Taster course. I found the loom easy to use and with Amanda's encouragement soon began to play with different materials and techniques to produce a wall hanging to take home. Even if, like me, you are not very artistic, using this loom you will have fun and produce your own unique piece of cloth. "

"I really enjoyed this introductory course. It was unbrushed, and yet we managed to produce something. All the details were clearly explained, and the relaxed atmosphere promoted creativity."
