Karen Meins reviewed: Introduction to Abstract & Creative Photography in Nature

"Myself and my niece had a fantastic day with Andy!!! He was incredibly knowledgable and very kind and patient with us. He also had taken the time to find out about the cameras we had so he could help and support us even more. I would highly recommend the session as the day flew by and it was great fun!!!"

Andrew Atkins Photography responded:

"What a lovely review. I'm really pleased that you both had a great time. I thought you coped really well with my introduction (and repetition!) of photographic concepts that were new to both of you, as well as the harsh light and the heat in the afternoon. The willingness of you both to keep practising all day with different depths-of-field and compositional concepts, while learning new camera settings and controls, was impressive. I hope you try the 'shaking camera' ICM technique again soon - it may look very odd, but there was definite potential in those Monet-esque images! Thanks once again for being prepared to try new things and I hope the two of you will be out-and-about again with your cameras very soon. "

Peter Hunt reviewed: Introduction to Bird Photography

"We were blessed with fantastic weather for my day but not good luck with my equipment. However Andy was still able to give me a great experience. His knowledge, patience and teaching skills are of a very high level. I hope I will be able to put even a small part of what he gave me into practice. The venue is also excellent and gives a good variety of photographic opportunities."

Andrew Atkins Photography responded:

"Many thanks Peter. The abundance of birdlife on the day certainly helped and I thought you coped very well using my very unfamiliar equipment. I'm sure you'll be able to transfer many of the skills onto your now-working camera. It's always a delight to have a client that's curious and keen to learn, so thanks again. Andy"
