"Chris and his partner fully deserve the 5 stars, I would give them 10 if I could! We booked a Christmas session for a family of 4 and we all left with a gorgeous and unique bauble. Chris is an excellent teacher; calm patient and encouraging. Simply can't praise this highly enough. "

"My chair was a more complex project than I'd realised, as a complete novice. Jo explains, instructs, guides, does the trickiest bits if you want her to, and manages the different needs of a small group all engaged on different projects. She creates a very encouraging and positive atmosphere. As well as learning something about upholstery, I found spending extended periods of time focused on the tasks cleared my mind. Away from screens, emails, I felt I'd restored myself as well as my chair! Thank you."

"I got my partner the bauble workshop for his birthday and he had a great time. The people were lovely and very knowledgeable, and even let me have a go as there was time between sessions. It was really fun and we would definitely come back to have a go at something else! "

"I treated my friend to this as a birthday gift. We both had a wonderful time - the studio is perfect, Elly was friendly, helpful and a great teacher. The craft itself is easy to pick up, and your only limitation is your creative imagination! We both created several pieces which Elly managed to glaze and fire within a few days so that we would have them in time for Christmas. We would thoroughly recommend both this craft and Elly - a great experience. "

"My partner and I did a one-day stained glass course. Both Vicky and Vic (who was on hand go help us in the morning while Vicky was busy with another group) were absolutely delightful! We were really pleased by how much freedom we were given (even though we were complete beginners) to choose a design and to crack on with it! There was as much support as we needed but it felt genuinely creative and like a learning experience, not just painting by numbers. The Vicky and Vic were also really kind, lovely folks so we had a good natter over lunch and while we were working away. Cannot recommend it highly enough!!"

"Excellent course! It was my first time so I only ended up making one peice (I had a lot of learning to do and ended up having to use a special glass cutter due to a pre-existing wrist injury). It was well taught with good equipment a a lovely selection of glass."

"I had a lovely time with Sandra making silver earrings. She taught me about the different finishes made with a hammer, how to cut out flat shapes that can be heated and hammered to make different three dinensional shapes, how to file them smooth, solder different pieces togetamd how to polish them. Sandra taught me a handy trick with silver foil, warm water and liquid laundry detergent to remove silver tarnish. It was a wonderful experience. "
