Lady Linda reviewed: Vintage style hat making workshop

"Fabulous day in a great location. Delighted to produce a wearable hat in a day. Some finishing to do after the course but no big deal. Sarah is an excellent tutor and passes on her skills in a very practical way. Small numbers on the course made it very personal and interactive with other participants. Can't wait to book another course."

Sahar Millinery responded:

"Dear Lady Linda, Many thanks for your review, it was an absolute pleasure to have you in the studio, on the workshop. Your hat came together very nicely and I look forward to seeing photos of the completed piece! Best, Sahar "

Jayne Paterson reviewed: 1-Day Jewellery Making “Pendant & Earrings Workshop for 2 people

"I wasn't sure what to expect from the workshop and I guess I'd never really thought about how jewellery is made. It was a complete eye-opener! There were two of us and Linda expertly...and patiently took us through the various processes. At the end of the day I was the proud owner of a pair of silver earrings and matching necklace! Thank you Linda for a really interesting and fun day. "

Lexi Murphy reviewed: 1-Day Jewellery Making “Pendant & Earrings Workshop for 2 people

"There were two of us on this course, complete novices, and what a great time we had! I had no idea how much was involved in making an item of jewellery and have a new respect for those who do it for a living or as a hobby! Linda was a very patient teacher, very creative, always making helpful suggestion to allow us to achieve or improve whatever ideas we had come up with. The little workshop is very well equipped and ideally located within the grounds of Belgrave Hall, so it was lovely and quiet and we could go for a wander and have our picnic in the gardens and courtyard. And at the end of the day we came out with our very own item of jewellery! The course was great fun, very instructive, and I would recommend it to anyone!!"

Sara reviewed: One day bangle/ring workshop

"Absolutely fantastic time celebrating our daughters 21st Birthday. Jolene is the most welcoming host and patient teacher knowing exactly how much or how little guidance to give. There were 4 of us. 2 in our Fifties and 2 in their early Twenties. Two male two female. Jolene was able to find a way of cultivating and nurturing creativity in all of us working round our differing styles and personalities . We came home with wonderful memories and beautiful creations. I cant wait to go back to do more !! I would recommend this course to everyone Thank you Jolene"

Angels reviewed: Hedgehog needle felting workshop

"A wonderful felting course in a wonderful location with wonderful people. I throughly enjoyed every minute of this very enlightening course. This was my very 1st try at felting, the tuition was excellent as were the refreshments and baked pastries. I came home with a rather long nosed, very cute, hedgehog who I wouldn't change one bit. I also purchased a felting rabbit kit which lays in a beautifully presented box waiting for its creation. Beware however, I believe like me, once you've been on this course you'll get the felting bug. Very much looking forward to visiting, learning and felting on my next chosen course here. You truly won't be disappointed - enjoy. "

Heather Everley reviewed: Introduction to fused glass (1 day) in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

"I recently attended Martin's glass fusion course for the 4th time because from my first time to this one, I have enjoyed, been challenged and was totally engrossed during it. I have no art experience but Martin shows you examples of things to copy or be inspired by. He positively encourages you to try your own ideas with and uses his expertise to tweak things. The only thing i ever need is more time, 5 hours fly by. Thank you"

Martin McAssey Glass responded:

"Thank you ?"

"Val was a warm and friendly host, we were so lucky to be able to use her expert knowledge to produce some unique artwork. little blue hodgepig responded:

"Thank you both for joining me. I’m so pleased you enjoyed the course. Good luck with your onward cyanotype journey. "

"Fast delivery, even to me in the Scottish Highlands. Great kit with everything you will need. The only niggle is the instructions are not the best for reading the measurements, photo's are very dark. Over all great kit."
