Nothing was too much trouble when it came to her teaching me about the various types of glass that I used to create two coasters, a hanger and a wave. It was fascinating to learn how the glass will change during firing. Dorothy is certainly a wonderful, knowledgeable teacher. I would highly recommend this course. "I started this course 15 months ago. I had never done stain glass or much art before. It is an amazing course which challenges a different aspect of my brain. I never thought I would achieve so much. Martin is an outstanding teacher and demonstrates the skills required and is always there to help. He also encourages one to improve with each course by suggesting how to do it oneself and create ownership of wonderful pieces of stained glass. It is an exciting hobby for anyone who wants to do something different . "

"I have been doing a weekly stained glass course with Martin, making leaded windows, which has been great. I was a complete beginner but feel I have made good progress and really enjoy the class. Martin is a very patient and encouraging teacher, and is always helpful. I really appreciate that if you have to miss a class, Martin will try and fit you in for another. I have also been on a 1 day Christmas decoration class with Kate, who is also a great teacher, and enjoyed doing the Tiffany technique again. "

"This is my fourth class with Cathy and once again it was most enjoyable. This was a 10.00a.m. - 4.00 p.m. in pastels with seven other like minded people. I can honestly say all of us really, really enjoyed our day. Our final pictures show this and some completing three and four pictures. Cathy is very approachable, professional and her knowledge immense. She gives you time and encouragement if you're feeling overwhelmed and you surprise yourself with your final picture. I’m looking forward to enjoying many more. Some weeks ago. Just retired I wanted to enjoy something new. I decided to go for the art classes and it’s just been brilliant. I can only say take that step."
