Susan G reviewed: Mosaic workshop at Jackie Nash Art

"Jackies workshop is an Aladdin's Cave of tiles, boards to work on, and inspirational pieces created over the years. With small classes, it enabled Jackie to spend quality time with everyone, whether helping with designs, colours, techniques or motivation, which provided a very reassuring and friendly environment. Plenty of chat, good coffee, and excellent homemade banana cake. I would recommend this course to absolutely everyone."

Jackie Nash Art responded:

"Thank you Sue for such a lovely review. Look forward to seeing your mosaic. Keep in touch and message me if you have any questions. Best wishes Jackie "

Barbara reviewed: Duo human sculpture kit (1 x 30cm & 1 x 50cm)

"I purchased a duo and small human kit as a birthday present for one of my daughters but also, of course, as a present for us all to get creative together at home. We had a really lovely day using the very clear instructions and, of course, under the “video” watchful eye of Jo herself! Brilliant results and fun! We were disappointed not to have been able to book a Worksop (we’d previously created hares on one) but would thoroughly recommend. We have our sights on a garden edifice or two now… all to “clay” for!"

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Barbara - your trio of human poses are wonderful (photo now on the Craft Course website pages detailing the human kits!). So sorry I did not have availability for another studio workshop for you and your daughters, but hope to see you at some time back here 😘 Jo x"

Amanda reviewed: Jewellery Workshop - Make a Silver Ring

"My partner and I went to make our wedding rings with Sheila last week and we had an absolutely fantastic time! I made a slim gold ring and my partner made a thicker silver ring. Sheila was brilliant finding us different materials than those usually used in the standard silver ring workshop. She is so lovely and made the experience really special for us. We were delighted with the finished products and we can't wait to wear them in October! I'd definitely recommend booking a workshop with Sheila. "

Rachael reviewed: Beginners 1-day 1-2-1 pottery / ceramics workshop for 1 person

"What a delight of a day, it will be one for the memory bank for sure. Thank you to my Mum and Dad for such a fabulous birthday gift. Louise is talented, patient and very encouraging especially as this was my first time in a potter's studio - my only other time working with clay was at uni but that will change now as today Louise has definitely shared the bug for it! Is it too early to start researching second-hand potter's wheels online...? : ) The day was so smooth, giving me opportunities to try so many different things and it was relaxed and ran beautifully, just sorry it had to end. I can only imagine how much prep and clear-up it created too! Thank you Louise for a wonderful experience."

Blended Monkey - pottery - woodturning - green woodworking - pole lathe - throwing responded:

"It was fab spending the day with you in the ceramics studio and I'm really happy that you enjoyed your immersive, creative clay workshop :-). Joanne Rogers reviewed: Experience the Japanese art of raku using fire and flame

"If you like spending the day with likeminded creative people then this is the day for you. We were shown the Raku technique and were allowed to fire 4 pots. We started slowly but after we saw the first pots come out of the kiln we were all excited to try new and interesting things and were encouraged to do so my Janet and Suzanne. The tuition was excellent and we were lucky with the weather as it was outdoors but under a canopy. I would definitely recommend this course and will probably be doing it again myself now I have seen the results. "

Gone To Pot Ceramics responded:

"Ho Jo, thank you so much for your kind review. We had a lovely day didn’t we. Every one produced such lovely pots and you were such a lovely bunch, thank you too. Kind regards Janet and the team."
