"Great course. Dave was presented with 5 'customers' whose interests in wood could not have been more varied. From mine, carving on a small scale, to someone else's, carpentry on a big scale. He helped us all by teaching how to sharpen planes, axes, carving knives, gouges, chisels and even hook knives. He taught me all that I needed to know about sharpening the tools I use as well as everybody else about what they use. He was happy for us to video him in his demonstrations. He showed us his technique but also other popular techniques. Great course. Great teacher. "

"I had a brilliant experience at the hammer and hound forge. I made a twisted Damascus bowie style knife over the course of the weekend. The instructor is very good and definitely knows his trade. I will definitely return to make something else. Highly recommended if you ever get the chance to try it, you will have a very good experience "

I had a choice of bags that I could make, the leather I wanted to use, and some other design aspects. Kingsley was a great tutor and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this course. "

"Excellent experience with Anna Nichols. I attended with my partner Tom. We had done some woodwork before but not turning. She had a very pleasant and patient manner. Her instructions were clear and perfectly paced. Really pleased with what we achieved and learned. Overall excellent value.
