Ian reviewed: Whittling course

"Had a fantastic day learning and producing some fun articles on Martin's course. My father and my two sons all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very hard to fault any part of Martin's course, approach or friendliness. If you have an interest in this and want to learn the basics including correct techniques - so important to safely handling the very sharp knives involved - then I really can't recommend this course enough. We made a butter knife, fork and a fully working whistle over the day. The course included a nice lunch including getting in some gluten free options which was appreciated. Thanks Martin - a great day."

Rosie Tucker reviewed: Blacksmithing Experience Day

"I booked this day for my Son and Husband for their birthdays. They both had had the best time ,instruction was really good and the day was informal ,which suited them both ,but they learnt a lot and my husband said how he has so much more respect and understanding for the work that Colin produces. Both were really chuffed with the pieces that they produced and so was I."

Catherine harlow reviewed: 4-week online flower arranging class with Julie Davies Flower Workshops

"I started with no experience whatsoever just a love for flowers... I've ended the course with so much more confidence and idea on what I'm doing. I was a little nervous to begin with but everyone was so nice and Julie's feedback is so helpful and reassuring. You can do this course at your pace when you get a spare hour here and there or save everything for a Sunday afternoon. I can't recommend this course more! Thank you!!"

Wyn Khor reviewed: 2 days Mosaic Workshop for Beginners and Intermediate Levels with Nathalie Vin

"Nathalie's Introduction to Mosaic course was a great day out for my friend and I. We learned the basics of the art, including designing, cutting and arranging tiles to form a finished piece of mosaic. Nathalie's studio was a joy to work in and the small class size ensured we each received plenty of personal attention from the mosaic guru herself! Other reviewers have also mentioned the delicious lunch spread - I couldn't agree more. Highly recommended fun weekend activity!"

Sheila reviewed: ‘Winter dream ' wool painting face-to-face textile art course in Worcestershire

"I am so pleased to have found Magic Wool Studio where the artist Raya Brown teaches a range of skills and crafts. Raya is using her professionalism to guide you through different stages of creating an art work. I was particularly impressed by her knowledge of composition and colour scheme which she passes on to her students at workshops. I feel that I learnt so much within a 6 hour workshop. I am fascinated by wool painting technique and so happy with my wool picture. I'm going to attend more workshops especially felt making classes. I would recommend Raya's classes to anyone. They are suitable for absolute beginners as well as experienced artists."

Martin Rollin reviewed: 1 to 1 Bladesmithing or Blacksmithing

"This course was booked as a gift from my Wife. Blacksmithing is some thing I have wanted to try for a long time. The course didn't get off to a good start as we started an hour late with no explanation or information as to why, however once we started it was brilliant, Tim and his staff were helpful informative and really showed a passion for their trade. This showed in the demos and ease in which they gave help and advice throughout the day nothing was too much trouble and no question went unanswered. We more than made up for the late start at the end of the day. Thanks once again To Tim and his team for an excellent day I would certainly book on another one of his courses"

Tricia Douglas reviewed: Enamelling on copper

"We took this amazing day course as a part of my friend's birthday. It was such a good choice and so much fun! I flew in from Switzerland and was so happy I did. If only I lived closer, I believe the lovely Dylis would have turned me into an enamelist. Be it her welcoming and helpful personality, her precious dog Chloe or the excitement of watching your projects turn into beautiful but easy masterpieces, I would have certainly been a goner! Perhaps there will be another trip in my future! Thank you so much for a wonderful time! Happy enameling!"
