Claire Caseley reviewed: Hare Sculpture workshop with Jo Garden Art in beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk

"I thoroughly enjoyed my day with Jo in December. It was extremely well organised and we all came away with an excellent hare sculpture in differing poses. All the instructions were easy to follow and understand for all levels. It made me want to do more crafty activities, five stars from me! Thank you Jo!"

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Claire - I hope your lovely moon-gazing hare travelled safely with you back to the Shetland Isles and has been gazing up at the Northern Lights during these dark nights ;-)"

Ruth Crawford reviewed: 'Art of Stained Glass' - Oldbury, Birmingham

"I completed the four day glass painting course with Jamal. It was fabulous. Jamal was able to meet the individual needs of all three of us. I learnt so much, it was a great experience. Jamal is probably the best in the country in this area of glass workmanship. I was able to transform the Crawford Clan emblem into a piece of beautiful glass to put in a panel over our front door. Thanks Jamal!!"

Stained Glassic responded:

"Thanks very much Ruth! It was great to have you in my studio again!"

Rowena Lucas reviewed: Pottery wheel throwing and hand building full day

"I really enjoyed my day with Richard, what an excellent teacher - showing real detail about how to actually use your hands and your body to get the clay doing what you want. I'm looking forward to having another go. I ended up with 2 'pots' from the wheel and 2 handmade. Richard gave me the instruction I needed and then gave me the space to try it out for myself, patiently giving me yet another new start until I got it right. Great achievement as far as I was concerned - my 2nd pot was quite delightful! Thank you for a satisfying day."

Potterydayz responded:

"It was a pleasure to see you here at Potterydayz Rowena, I am happy that you enjoyed your day. See you again soon I hope. Happy New Year All the best Richard"

thursa wilde reviewed: Millinery Classes - Learn Hat Making like a Professional

"I really enjoyed my time with Silvia, and learned so much in such a short time. She is an inspiring teacher. It was a joy to spend these calm hours creating something beautiful and I am so pleased with my hat, which turned out better than I expected, and looks so professional thanks to Silvia's patient attention to detail. It doesn't matter if you are not particularly proficient at sewing as she takes you through the basic stitches and makes everything very clear. Thank you Silvia. I will be recommending your course to friends."

Robert reviewed: Learn soft pastels in a relaxed beautiful environment

"Had a workshop with Heather as a gift from my wife, having dabbled with pastels but not really been able to finish to a satisfying degree. I now have the confidence to go back and finish some of my work and start some exciting new ones after Heather showed me, with great patience, where I have been going wrong. She also gave me the benefit of her experience to feel ready to go forward with my art. A very knowledgeable artist with a calm and lovely way of teaching, all set in lovely surroundings. May well book again after I've put my learnings into practice. Thank you Heather ever so much. Robert."

Charles reviewed: Learn soft pastels in a relaxed beautiful environment

"Discovered Heather 5 years ago and h wow what an amazing artist she is! Her introduction to pastels workshop was brilliant! I booked it as something for myself and partner to do on a weekend and we couldn't have felt more relaxed if we wanted to. The welcome as soon as we walked into the studio was amazing and the day went very well with advice given throughout, but wasnt forced on us if we didn't want it. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking to get creative in a beautiful surrounding with amazing talent at hand."

Alan reviewed: Traditional Leather Workshop (small leather goods)

"I had the best time learning leather working with Kingsley - this guy really knows his stuff. Top quality tools and materials, invaluable guidance and plenty of free biscuits. I’m so amazed with the wallet I made, even if I do say so myself!! My only criticism is that I wish this workshop was three times the length - I didn’t want to go home! ;) Cheers Kingsley"

Margaret Maunder reviewed: Pottery workshop at Claynglaze Pottery

"Wendy introduced me to ceramics as I had never has the opportunity to make anything in clay previously. She created a two day course for myself and a colleague so we could teach 3D ceramics to KST 3 students. She taught us a variety of techniques and skills which have all been used in school. She taught me how to load and set up the kiln as well as going through different firing programmes. She is an inspiring teacher as she ensures you understand the different processes. Since my first course with Wendy I have further developed my own practise with her and made smoke fired orbs as well as a large bespoke utensil pot for my kitchen. The studio is a large space in the country with lovely views and very well equipped."

Claynglaze responded:

"Thankyou for such an in depth review. My desire is to see that ceramics in education continues despite knowing funding is poor, colleges close and short sighted educationaliats rank academic subjects above creative art ones. INSET training in ceramics empowers anyone to teach and fire pottery in school. I'm so proud of what you achieved and happy in the knowlege that because of it more children will experience clay and benefit from both the educational creativity and therapeutic value clay offers. Thanks Wendy."

Lisa Thompson reviewed: Christmas Wreath Making Masterclass

"Did this class with 2 friends and it was such a lovely thing to do. The pace was just right, I was able to follow Sarah's instructions and the whole evening felt friendly and relaxed. The decorations for your wreath were really great- the course is excellent value for money as I came away with a beautiful wreath that looked good all December. What I loved about this course was that it felt so Christmassy! We had Christmas songs, mince pies, chocolate and prosecco! Really put us in the Christmas mood! Will be doing again next year!"
