John Evans reviewed: 'Watercolour Christmas cards' interactive online Art course with live tuition.

"I have greatly enjoyed attending four of Raya's courses through remote Zoom sessions and in-situ lessons: Fundamental Art Skills; Birds and Natural Form; Fun with Watercolour and Introduction to Portrait. I feel my art skill level and confidence has grown under Raya's expert tutelage; I have produced work that I would not have imagined I would have been capable of before I joined Raya's classes. Raya is an experienced artist and art teacher; she has an intuitive ability to see exactly what needs to be done to improve; she delivers expert practical demonstrations and gives helpful and invaluable advice in a gentle and encouraging manner. She consistently exudes positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement for all of her students. I look forward to joining future courses with Raya."

Magic Wool Art and Craft Studio responded:

"Dear John Thank you so much for your review. I am so pleased that you are enjoying my courses and you have made a fantastic progress during my courses. Look forward to teaching you on Monday. Best wishes Raya"

Scott Gilbert reviewed: Two person 'Have a Bash' at Blacksmithing course in Shropshire

"What a great experience! My son and I recently attended Jake's have-a-bash course. No blacksmithing experience between the two of us, but through a well designed course and outstanding instruction from Jake, we completed some pretty good looking pokers and hooks. Jake explained and demonstrated every step of the process and then let us have a go. He was always by our side to provide feedback and guide us in the right direction. Looking forward to taking more of his classes in the future!"

"I have done a few woodwork courses over the past couple of years and this was by far the best. The tuition goes beyond just making something but to the reason behind the tools used, how to use them, the posture to adopt, and how to deal with the wood you use. I really enjoyed this course and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in joinery."

Ed Harvey reviewed: Knife making weekend Gloucestershire

"Bought for me as a surprise 40th birthday gift by my wife and kids and had such a thoroughly enjoyable weekend! Arian was not only a great host, but I'm sure there's very little he doesn't know about knives and the making of such a tool. From designing my ideal kitchen knife through to hours of filing and sculpting, and then selecting and creating the handle from a beautiful British plum log the course was easily the most enjoyable and fulfilling that I've been on before. Lovely location, great host and with such a small group it was nice to get to know each other over the two days. Highly recommended!"
