Hilary reviewed: Pastel Landscapes for Beginners

"I worked on the beginners course with Annabel prior to attending her studio in Wales for a workshop. This meant that I was able to cover all the basics before going. The course gave me a very good understanding and grounding of the medium as well as introducing me to makes of pastels which helped me to succeed. I found the instructions detailed and easy to follow with step by step pictures. The assessments were prompt and very useful. It is a brilliant course for the beginner and later on I did the Improvers course as well!"

Julien reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"Had a great time and learnt a lot. I was the only person on the weekend before Christmas, and Sebastian looked after me famously. His yard is a fascinating place and beautifully situated. Good introduction to stonecarving. Sebastian leaves you to get on with your own idea, interjecting regularly with comments and suggestions."

Sue Lambert reviewed: Silverclay beginners jewellery workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne

"I spent a lovely afternoon exploring Silver Clay, Claire explained the properties of the mixture and the process very clearly. The time went so quickly, I really enjoyed the practical side and it was great to do every bit of the process. I did managed to damage one of my pieces and Claire showed her expertise by fixing it. She showed me what she was doing and it was as good as new when she had finished. Claire is absolutely fab, friendly and very knowledgeable, I would recommend this class to anyone who loves to craft and / or wants to have a 'go' at something inspiring."

ToDot Handcrafted Goods responded:

"Thank you for your kind words Sue. I was glad we were finally able to hold your workshop. You made lovely earrings and pendant and it was lovely to meet you! Thanks again, Claire"

Joanne Huckster reviewed: Design a room in your home with weekly one to one consultations

"I have just finished designing my master bedroom on Nikki’s online interior design course and I loved every minute of it! Nikki made redesigning my room fun and stress-free, and being able to discuss my homework and journey with Nikki at the end of each week was also particularly helpful. She has an abundance of knowledge and inspiration and her passion for interiors just motivates you to a level that you just want to keep on learning! Although this is an online course, Nikki made it extremely personal with her one on one support and encouragement. It’s also extremely good value bearing in mind you are getting help and guidance from a professional interior designer in addition to the whopping amount of resource material you are sent with each weekly assignment; and what’s more I am able to reuse the step by step process time and time again on other projects in my home. Definitely a five star interior design online course. Thank you."

Janet Latham reviewed: Mosaic taster session @ White Stones Studios

"I am just looking at the mosaic I made at David Nicholls studio in October and I really can't believe I created it! I attended the full day course with my husband and we had such an amazing time. Neither of us had done anything like this before and I was very excited at trying out a new craft skill. David is very good at sharing his considerable knowledge and has a great teaching technique of making subtle suggestions while leaving you to create what you have in your head. Going from a blank board to a completed mosaic was completely beyond my expectations of the day. We both absolutely loved the experience and will certainly be going back for more one day. I would highly recommend this course - as well as taking home a completed mosaic I had a huge sense of achievement at the end of the day."

David Nicholls Art responded:

"Hi Janet, Thank you for the glowing review! I’m so glad you both enjoyed it and it was a pleasure to guide you to achieve your creations. Look forward to guiding you again! David"
