Description
This workshop will introduce you to the wonderful art of weaving. You'll use a Sample It or Rigid Heddle loom and learn the basics of weaving which will get you started on a creative journey that you'll love. I'll message you once you book and you'll be able to let me know which colours you'd like to weave with and I will dye these for you to use on the day. There will also be hand dyed yarns for you to weave with which will give you a unique scarf and give you the confidence to weave with these beautiful artisan yarns. You're welcome to come along on this workshop with absolutely no experience of weaving at all, we'll guide you through the process and I assure you, it'll be great fun.
What's included in the price?
Looms are provided and materials too but you are also welcome to bring along any yarns, ribbons or other fibres that inspire you to incorporate in your work, making your scarf truly a unique piece that is incredibly personal to you. Lunch is not provided but there are lots of places to eat at the venue or you can bring along a packed lunch.
