Twenty Thousand Leagues lino print. 1 of an edition of 8 prints. This print is hand printed so some minor variation is to be expected in this limited edition. Reduction lino print inspired by Jules Verne’s evocative book. Kent Paper size 21 x 30 cm Print size 15 x 22.5 cm This print will fit a standard size A4 frame. Every care is taken to photograph artwork, but minor colour variation may occur between original and screen.
How this was made
Reduction prints are made by carving away details, inking up and printing the plate. Then the next colour layer is carved, inked and printed. This means that once a layer is printed it can never be printed again. Making this a very limited edition of only 8 of these prints. This means that a very limited number of images can be printed and slight variations occur between each print, making each one individual.
What's included in the price?
1 x A4 print (from an edition of 8), with mount and backboard. I try to limit my use of none recyclable materials so your purchase is wrapped in tissue paper for protection. I am happy to supply in cellophane sleeve if requested.
