Description
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and craft a set of three delicate, textured silver rings—perfect for stacking or wearing individually. One of the rings will feature a beautiful gemstone set in a silver bezel, which you’ll solder yourself using a ready-made setting. We’ll begin with a demonstration covering the entire process—from texturing and soldering to shaping and polishing—along with tips on working with silver, handling tools, and using a handheld blowtorch. You’ll then move on to creating your own rings with expert guidance every step of the way. Starting with finger sizing, you’ll calculate and measure the wire needed for each ring, then add your chosen hammered texture for a unique, personal finish. You will saw, shape, and prepare them for soldering. Once soldered, you’ll clean and form them into perfectly round rings. In a special twist on the classic stacking ring class, you’ll also learn how to attach a pre-made setting to one of your rings. Choose a gemstone from our varied collection and learn how to set it securely with expert guidance. Once your rings are fully formed and textured, we’ll move on to the final step: polishing them to a beautiful shine, ready for you to wear home the same day.
